Thankfully you didn't wake up with a splitting headache like yesterday. You decided to quickly clean the house up and left a handwritten note thanking your aunt for allowing you to use her home. You packed your car up and drove to the hospital in Hosu.
When you walked through the automatic doors, you immediately notice Naomasa talking with Gran Torino, Manual, and a very tall man with the face of a dog.
"Ah, Ms. [y/n]. Good morning" the detective looked like shit. He clearly hasn't slept in some time.
"Good morning. I take it you got your foot in the door with the police here?"
"Quite frankly, I'm a little disappointed they weren't working together in the first place. I plan on having a meeting with my captains this afternoon about playing nicer with the other precincts, woof" The dog man had a deep commanding voice. He reminded you a lot of Hound Dog.
"Ms. [L/N], this is the Chief of Police here at Hosu, Kenji Tsuragamae. Kanji Tsuragamae, this is [y/n] [L/N]. She had been helping us out with the Nomu's and sent us information on their activity here in Hosu." You raised a brow and shook his hand. You know it's real when the Chief gets involved.
"It's a pleasure. Thank you for putting yourself out there, Ms. [L/N]."
"Happy to help. If you ever need to know who and where to buy pixie sticks in the city, I'm the girl to talk to" he raised a brow this time.
"We'll be in touch. Detective, we should probably get down to business and talk to the boys"
"Are they awake?" You asked.
"They should be. They'll be released later today, but in the meantime, we need to talk to them about the misuse of their quirks" you knew this was coming. Unfortunately, you can't just freely use your quirk however and whenever you want, even if it was for a good reason. The only reason you got a pass was because no one technically knows about your visit to Cheeky and during the Nomu attacks yesterday, you never used your quirk against anyone. Depending on your profession, you had to obtain special licenses and continually renew them after a certain amount of time. That's just how your society has been able to adjust to 80 percent of the population obtaining a quirk and everyone must obey the laws, even heroes. If the boys aren't careful, something like this can seriously damage their career before it's even started.
"Of course. Manual, why don't you and Gran Torino show the Chief the way. I have to head back to the precinct and wrap some things up before going back to Musutafu." Manual nodded at the both of you shyly and the men began walking towards the elevator.
"Girl, are you coming?" Gran Torino called out, holding the elevator doors open.
"I'll be right up. I need to talk to the detective first" Gran Torino grunted and the elevator doors slowly closed in front of them.
"So who's taking the credit for taking down the Hero Killer?" You ask. The detective is just finishing typing a text and slips his phone into his jacket pocket.
"Endeavor" you rolled your eyes, of course.
"I'm a little worried about the boys seeing me. I'm going to have to be another secret they keep"
"Don't worry, if you explain it to them, then I'm sure they'll understand" he's been in the game so long that he assumes that everyone around him is used to keeping secrets, frequently.
"Maybe. Well..I guess I should head up there, is there anything else you need from me?"
"Nope. The department thanks you for your help. Hopefully we can expect your help in the future though?" You laughed
"Maybe. Depends on the case" he smiled and stuck a hand out.
"I look forward to it then" you shook his hand and then parted ways. On your way up, you thought about how easily they were able to convince you to get to this point.
