I woke up and I feel sore from head to toe, pinilit ko pa ring tumayo para maligo..

Although it did makes me feel a little better, hindi nito natanggal lahat.

Is this what they call a hangover?

Nang makita ko ito'y naka bungad sa akin ang text messages ni Alexus.

I tapped it open.

Alexus:

I'm sure you can remember.. let's talk about it at 'wag mong balak-balaking takasan ako.

My heart literally started to pump harder.

I scrolled through and that's the only text he send me.

I'm doomed.

Napa pitlag ako nang biglang bumukas ang pinto, kasabay non ay ang pag hulog ng phone ko mula sa kamay..

I don't have time to pick it up, so instead, I kicked it to hide under my bed.

"D-dad.." bungad ko, his arms are crossed as he closed the door from behind.

"Your ate Lalaine told me you hang out with her last night, but she didn't testify that she allowed you to be taken home by that boy." sabi nito.

Right, Alexus brought me home.. and as far as I can remember, ate Ruby is the one that helped me walked to my room from the front door.

I don't even noticed if my Dad was there.

"I-I.. I accidentally texted him to pick me up instead of texting my driver." naka yuko kong dahilan.

I don't even have the energy to compose a lie that he'll believe.

"Are you still on your mind Amari?! Paano kung may media na maka kita sa'yo doon?! Partying? Like an uneducated daughter?! Going home with a lowlife boy?!" I'm so used to his words.

"I just.. wanted to hang out with ate Lalaine.. what's wrong with that?" I answered to the calmest tone I can.

"I'll file a case to that Salvator—" I cut his words.

"Madali naman akong kausap Amari, kung tutuparin mo 'yan.. then I won't make a move." sabi niya, tinignan ko siya.. and he was smiling victoriously.. makes me wonder, is my Dad still alive deed inside him?

"Anyways, the rumors of you dating Nate seems to be quiet.. I want you to build relationship with him because you'll be engaged with him after you graduated." Dad, my jaw dropped.

"W-what?!"

"I'm deciding for your own good, 'cause you are my daughter.." lumapit siya at hinalikan ako sa noo.

When he left, my whole body shaken.. as if all of the pain comes all together to take revenge because I tried to take them all away.

Sinubukan kong pigilan ang pag tulo ng luha sa mata ko, but the more I force it in.. the more I wanted to cry.
