It's been a week since me and Alexus started dating, naka lipas naman ang mga 'yon na walang umaabot kay Dad.

Tonight is saturday, my Dad knocked on my door just to ask me to get ready.

We're having dinner with Nate's family.

Bumaba na ako agad kung saan naabutan ko silang nag hihintay sa tabi ng itim na van, Dad's driver will take us to the place.

Sa harap naka upo ang isang body guard na sasama sa amin, the next three rows of seats is where my step Mom and my Dad occupies.. sa likod nila kami pumwesto ni ate Lalaine at sa dulong upuan naman naka lagay ang wine na ibibigay namin sa kanila.

"I hope he has a handsome big brother." Pasimpleng bulong ni ate Lalaine sa akin.

Now that she said it, I remember one time Nate told me that.

"He has a big brother, I'm pretty sure he's your type." sagot ko na ikinalawak ng ngiti niya.

It wasn't that long when we reached their house.

Just like ours, it's big.. like a mansion to be exact.

Sinalubong nila kami sa harap palang ng mansion.

"Ahh! Ferdinand, welcome to my territory." may malaking ngiting bati ng Daddy ni Nathan saka nakipag kamay kay Dad.

He's Timothy Teroy Aviejo sr., and his wife Nathalia greet my Mom.

I smiled at Nate when our eyes met.

"Glad to see you came."sabi niya.

"I'm just hungry." sagot ko na mahina niyang ikinatawa.

Bumaling naman ako ng tingin sa kuya niya..

Timothy Teroy Aviejo jr. Nakipag kamay ako dito at wala manlang itong emosyon.

Ayon sa kwento ni Nate sa akin, kuya Tim is 5 years older than him.. he's the junior pero wala daw itong balak humawak ng itinayong business ng Daddy nila.

I know he's ate Lalaine's type, because he's the complete opposite of Nathan.

Judging by his black leather jacket, trousers, shoes, shirt and a chain necklace.. I can say ate Lalaine will drop her jaw.

And I'm not wrong.

"Hi! My name's Lalaine, call me mine for short." as she shake hands with him, she whispered her last words but I overheard it still.

Matapos ang batian ay dumeretso na kami sa dining room.

"Thanks." I mutter when Nate pulled a chair for me. He then walked to the other side.

They started to talk about business as we eat..

Their food is delicious, but my taste buds changed when a specific topic caught my ears.

"... and about Amari and Nate's engagement, should we make a huge celebration?" Tito.

"*cough* *cough*" nasamid si ate Lalaine sa kanin and kuya Tim stood up and gave her a glass of water.

Alam na naman ni ate Lalaine ang tungkol dito, siguro'y nasamid lang siya sa tamang pagkakataon.

"I-I'm sorry for interrupting tito Teroy." she said.

"So as I was saying, should we include the media?" tito, and it's even worse.

Of course I know my Dad will say yes, sumubo ako ng kanin at pinuno ang bibig ko.
