The Siphons obsession

Kai stayed with me that night as I cried myself to sleep he held me, soothing me. He rubbed my back as I cried leaving kisses on my shoulder.

Later he met up with Bonnie they needed the ascendant for 1903, to get Damon's mom so she could get Stefan to turn on his humanity.

I cut myself and put my blood in a vial.

Hours later Kai comes back and I give it to him." They are probably gonna try and leave you there, you'll need Bennett blood if they do." I tell him. Bonnie wont let me come, from there it was easy to figure out her plan to leave Kai behind, she knew I wouldn't leave him there and if i stayed he'd have the Bennett blood he needed to get out.

"Thanks." He whispers and stares at me, I sigh.

"Listen, I don't love you, to be honest I don't really know what being in love feels like, but I know you've been here for me more then anyone else, and I know I have some sort of feelings for you, I mean you were able to get my humanity back on." I laugh." Just be careful Kai." I tell him and he nods. I pull him into a hug and he kisses my head.

"Zoe, I need to tell you something." Kai says and pulls away. He sighs and looks away from me.

"Kai, what's wrong?" I ask and he sighs "Your-your like me Zoe, your a siphon, and someone in your family knew because, the neckless you wore was to keep you from siphoning." Kai says and pulls my neckless from his back pocket.

"Listen, zoe-" he stops and walks across the room and grabs a candle and comes back." Focus on lighting it, imagen the flame and the heat." He says and I listen I cup my hand over his that holds the candle and close my eyes as I imagine the wick catching flame and the heat it would let of as the smell of the candle filled the room. I open my eyes to see fire. I look up wide eyed as Kai gives me a small smile.

I smile and pull Kai into a kiss. When we pull away he clears his throat.

"I got to go." he says and I shake my head.

"Promise you'll come back?" I ask and he strokes my cheek.

"I promise." He says. He kisses me one last time and leaves. An hour later I go to the Salvatore house to wait for them.

Hours later, Bonnie, Elena, Damon and his mother Lilly show up.

Bonnies eyes soften when she sees me.

"Zoe-" I cut her off.

"Where's Kai?" I ask her and she sighs.

Damon steps forwards." Z, we couldn't bring him back." I nod as tears fill my eyes.

"No, I get, I do. Its okay for you to be the bed guy but fuck anyone else that is right?" I ask with a shrug.

"Zoe." Damon try's to grab me but I flinch away and shake my head.

"He understood. He understood me in ways none of you could." I tell them.

"Zoe, he was bad." Elena says and I scoff.

"Like Klaus who Caroline fucked, or Elijah who you continually made deals with, or how about Rebekah who you stabbed in the back?" I ask Elena.

"He was an abomination." Bonnie spits out.

"And I'm not?!" I yell angrily, my vampire faces showing." I'm a ripper Bonnie, I could tear this town apart in a blink of an eye, I'm a siphon, and you didn't even tell me." I growl at her I take a step towards her and her eyes widen.

"What?" Damon asks and looks to Bonnie.

"Grams told me not to tell you." Bonnie says on the brink of crying.

"And I'm your twin! You should have told me!" I yell and tears fall from her eyes.

"I'm sorry." She says with a shrug. I laugh.

"You always are Bonnie, yet you always let me down again and again, and I forgive you, you know I will so you continue to let me down, but I'm done, you aren't my sister, your nothing." I say and speed out.
