Standing with Damon  between Bonnie and I was not what I expected. Then again I don't know what I expected except for death. But after that I have no clue since I'm a vampire and the other side has collapsed.

Damon looks at his and Bonnie's interlocked hands. "That got awkward fast." He says and drops her hand, he raises mine and kisses the back of it making me roll my eyes with a smirk.

Me and Damon were always close. Especially when me and Bonnie figured out we came from a line of witches and me having no magic. He helped me when Kathrine killed me and turned me into a vampire and helped me as I cried after my first kill and learned I was like Stefan, a ripper. Maybe he stayed with me so long because he thought he could help me, unlike his brother, since I have a lot more control over my ripper side.

"What happened? Where is everybody?" Bonnie asks and I shrug.

"I don't hear anyone." I tell her using my supernatural abilities.

Bonnie walks off and I let go of Damon's hand to follow her." Where you going?" Damon calls after me. "Hey." He says catching up and taking my hand back.

He smirks at me when I look up at him with a brow raised." Don't want to lose my favorite Bennet." He says and I chuckle knowing he very much dislikes Bonnie and is probably only staying for me instead of looking for Elena.

"Well, I feel a fang so we're still vampires." Damon tells me." Either I'm a dead Vampire or Mystic falls is no longer magic-free." I sigh as Damon starts swinging our interlocked hands.

"Look." Bonnie says and I look at the mystic grill that looks perfectly fine after Damon blew it up. I frown at the building.

"I definitely blew that up about an hour ago." Damon tells us.

"Where is everyone?" I ask looking around.

"If we're still on the other side, we should be able to see the living." Bonnie says.

"Where are we?" I ask Bonnie looking to her for answers.

"I have no idea." She tell me and I sigh. We walk around trying to figure out where the hell we are, by now the sun has risen.

"Ugh. How many more streets are we gonna wander?" Damon asks as I sit on his back, him giving me a piggyback ride.

My head lays on his shoulder, as I watch the houses pass by.

" How many times are you gonna ask me questions I don't know the answers too?" Bonnie asks back.

"These cars are old." I speak up as we pass another old-looking car.

"Yeah, there all almost 20 years old or more, and yet look brand new." Damon says and stops his steps." And that is Elena's not so burnt to a crisp house." Damon says as he starts walking again. I get off his back and he picks up a news paper. I read it with him.

1994

Damon gives me a look and shows Bonnie. She reads the headline and I roll my eyes.

"The date Bon." I tell her.

"May 10th, 1994." She reads out loud. I look up as it starts to get dark only to see an eclipse.

Me and Damon sit on the bench swing as Bonnie sits on the stairs. Damon starts to swing so I lift my legs up and place them in his lap.

"I wonder if there's any booze in this empty retroville." Damon asks and smirks at me.

"There better be." I smirk back and we high-five.

"It feels so weird to be back here. Zoe and I practically grew up on this porch." Bonnie speaks up.

"Alright talk me through it." Damon tells Bonnie.
