The Siphons obsession

I wake up with a groan rubbing my sore neck. I sigh when I see I'm tied to a chair in vervain ropes. 

"Good morning princess, so no vampires are allowed in Mystic Falls so I had to hide you in this abandon shit hole, also I stole your daylight ring so there will be no daytime walks for you." Damon says and I groan.

" What happened where are we? Where's Bonnie?" I ask with a wince my throat feels like I swallowed sandpaper.

Damon clears his voice." She didn't make it." He says and tears come to my eyes." But its okay, I'm gonna help you get back onto the bunny diet-" I scoff cutting him off.

"My twin is gone, Damon, how am I- How do I-" I start to hyperventilate. Damon speeds at me and my world goes dark again.

Over the next few days Damon came and seen me but also Caroline, Elena, Stefan and Sheriff Forbes.

When thanksgiving came around Caroline brought me some food and unchained me to see how I would be.  

Now I'm able to walk among humans without trying to rip there throats out.

I compelled myself an apartment and Damon told me that Kai didn't kill Bonnie like he thought, but she was still alive and him and Elena was gonna work on bringing her back. He wants me to stay out of it not wanting to stress me out after just getting off of human blood.

  Damon and Elena got sent to the prison world via Liv, I wait in my apartment patiently when I get a call from Damon.

I hear noise come from my kitchen only to see Kai.

"Kai's in Mystic Falls Zoe, he got out the prison world and now he's roaming Mystic falls. Kai looks at me with a big smile and holds his finger to his lips.

"Where's Bonnie?" I ask both Kai and Damon, Damon answers first.

He sighs." I'm sorry Zoe, she's-" I hang up not needing to hear the rest.

"Can I stay here tonight?" Kai asks and I tilt my head.

"No."

"Come on don't be like that, if it makes you feel any better Bonnie is alive, I didn't kill her." He tells me and I scoff.

"Ya, you only trapped her away in a prison that was built for you." I spit out and he tuts. I flinch and step back as he walks forwards. He takes note of my flinch and stops, hurt covers his face.

"I've never hurt you, I would never hurt you, why did you flinch?" Kai asks, I shrug.

"I don't trust you." I tell him he looks away his jaw tense, but he nods.

"I guess that's fair. I wont lie to you, I wont hurt you, and we can work on that trust." He says and sits on the couch." But I have a question for you and I want you to be completely honest with me." Kai says and I nod." Do you hate me?" I freeze at his question and think about it.

He trapped my sister in a prison world, but Damon and Elena are working to get her back, besides that he hasn't done anything to me. There's no reason to hate him.

"No, Kai, I don't hate you." I tell him sitting down next to him, he gives me a soft smile filled with emotion, care, he cares for me in a deep level , infatuation. 

He nods with the smile and stands." Well I got to go, I have things to do but, I'll see you around." He says walking to the door but he turns on his heels to face me when he reaches it.

"Oh, one more thing. I get your a vampire but you should seriously lock your door." he says and I smile and shake my head.

"Right, sorry, I'll do that." I say and he smirks before leaving.
