The Siphons obsession

 I was in the living room relaxing after a long day of practicing magic with Valarie when Mary and Nora barged in.

"Help us it's Malcolm. He's dead." They say and I speed over to them.

"Malcolm." I cover my mouth as I hold his head in my hands.

"We found him in town. He was just lying there." Mary tells us.

"We can't let Lily see this." I speak up gently dropping his head.

I freeze as Lily enters the room.

"Malcolm? No." She comes over crying." No. No. Oh, my sweet boy. Who took him from us? Who did this?" 

"We know who." I tell her and she nods.

Enzo ties Caroline in the cellar. She tries to escape but Nora and Mary stop her.

I hide in my room not wanting to meddle with the lives of my old friends.

We held a ceremony for Malcolm, but we knew they would try everything to get Caroline back and since Damon admitted to killing Malcolm we took Elena.

Damon speeds out of the crypt to attack Lily but sees us Damon looks hurt when he sees me.

"Zoe?" Damon asks.

"Malcolm was a vital part of this family. He meant something to each one of us." Lilly tells Damon. Mary speaks up first.

"He found me on the streets. He was kind to me. Something I hadn't felt in years. He's the one who convinced me to meet Lily." 

"My family wanted me dead. Malcolm made sure they didn't succeed." Nora tells him.

" I hadn't seen Beau in a decade. Malcolm reunited us." Valarie speaks.

Damon looks to me." Malcolm welcomed me into his home, he made sure I fed when I refused to eat, he helped me sleep when I felt restless, he woke me up from my nightmares, he let me cry in his arms when I thought back on how you killed Kai." I tell Damon and he looks at me sadly as tears fill my eyes.

"He was my sounding board. My confidant. My eldest son. Ironic that you took him from me." Lilly tells him.

"Alright. Tell me what you want." Damon says acting like our words didn't hurt him.

"I want you out of Mystic Falls, as far away as you can get." Lily says and we speed off back home.

Lily eventually let Caroline go and I've been practicing magic with the girls. 

One day when I was siphoning my magic I felt a shift in my body and stopped shocked.

I go downstairs to see Oscar sitting in the same spot we left him looking scared as all hell.

"I want to drive, but Beau won't give me the keys." Mary says stomping into the room.

"Well, that's because you keep hitting cats and utility poles." Nora says and I chuckle, Nora smiles at me as Mary glares.

"Stop glaring Mary, driving is hard, you'll get the hang of it." I tell her and her glare turns into a smile.

"Thank you." She says patting my arm.

"He's still sitting there?" Nora asks looking at Oscar. She sits next to him." Oscar. Darling, it's Nora. Do you remember me?" he doesn't say anything.

"I don't like this. Oscar's meant to be laughing and making jokes. Guess what Oscar? Julian's coming back. Life's about to get fun again." Mary tells him.

"So fun. Right, well he's clearly unwell and we can't just leave him here." Nora tells us.

"Lorenzo, you wouldn't mind keeping an eye on him, would you? We won't be long." Lily asks Enzo.

"Happy to help." He answers back.

"Thank you. And if you hear from Valarie, please tell her to come home immediately. I know I was stern yesterday, but that's no reason to sulk. Come, on girls." With that, Lily left and took the girls with her. I turn to see Enzo looking at me.

I shrug before walking off to my room.

A few hours later I go downstairs to check on Oscar, when I see the maid bleeding and Oscar's mouth bloody, and then there's Bonnie.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I ask Bonnie as Enzo helps the maid.

"Zoe, um, h-how are you?" Bonnie asks nervously and I scoff.

I turn to Enzo." It looks like you have this covered." I say and speed out of the house altogether.

I go back home when Lilly calls me telling me they got home with Julian. I stand back as the girls do the spell.

They reunite and Julian sets his eyes on me.

"Who's that?" Julian asks nodding to me.

"That is our new sister." Nora says walking over to me. I play with my fingers as he comes over. He holds his hand out.

"I'm Julian, it's lovely of you to join our family." I smile and put my hand in his.

"I'm Zoe, I'm glad I finally have a family." I tell him.

"Aww." Nora says and pulls me into a hug Mary soon follows, and I smile happily.
