The Siphons obsession

I was waiting in Ric's apartment, watching TV as Elena ran around grabbing her things. It was Damon's shift to watch Kai.

"Calculator, calculator where is the calculator?" Elena asks herself. I point over to Kai. She follows my finger and sighs.

"Of course. Under the catatonic serial killer." She says walking over. I smirk and focus back on the show I was watching.

When Damon walks in I kiss his cheek before walking out.

I got an SOS from Caroline telling me to meet her at the hospital walking in I find Damon, he takes my hand and drags me to a dark room with everyone else.

" I had a friend from Duke send over Colin's medical records. This is his head scan from earlier this week." She shows us a scan with only a little red." This one was taken right here 10 minutes ago." She says and this one has a lot more red." See all that red?"

"Well, I'm no doctor, but that guy is screwed." Damon says pulling me closer.

"So the blood didn't heal him, it sped up his cancer and killed him." Stefan says and I cross my arms, poor guy.

"So, now I have a stage 10 cancer patient which by the way, doesn't exist... who is beyond terminally ill and a vampire. Meaning all his emotions are heightened and he can't die." Jo tells us.

"Okay, no offense but can someone tell me why I was called down here to listen to the story of Colin the cancer vamp?" Damon asks and I slap his arm, he winces. Caroline and her mom walk in giving me a bad feeling.

" Because Caroline fed me her blood last night, so the same thing is going to happen to me." Sheriff Forbes says and my heart drops.

Jo puts Caroline's mom into a room and checks her in as a patient, Damon and I stick with her as Elena goes outside to talk with Stefan and Caroline goes and gets them.

"Medically speaking, this is our best option. If vampire blood is the issue, then a full transfusion of human blood... might stabilize her condition." Jo tells Damon and I

"Please sound less confident, doc." Damon speaks up.

"Look, we are in uncharted territory here. This isn't just a medical problem this is a magical one." Jo says.

"I can't, I need time to think." I say and walk away body full of stress.

Since we were little it has always been Bonnie and Elena, and me and Caroline, Sheriff Forbes was the mother I wished stuck around. I can't just let her die, we know someone who might be able to at least take the magic out of the vampire blood. I walk to Ric's apartment hoping Damon would call me with some good news. By the time I get to Rics Damon called telling me it didn't work and I catch Tyler standing over Kai.

With a snarl I pin Tyler to a wall, he grabs onto my shoulder and neck trying to push me away.

"What are you doing?" I ask angrily.

"Liv's dad is in town. She's trying to convince him to let Jo and Kai do the merge." He tells me and I toss him away from me.

"You were going to let Kai go so he would merge with Jo." I accuse and he won't make eye contact proving I'm right. I was gonna take him to siphon the magic out of Elizabeth anyway.

I look over at Kai to see Tyler already pulled the needle out of him. "Fine, but I'm blaming you for this, this isn't on me." I speed him over and shove the needle in his neck.
