The Siphons obsession

I groan as I wake up confused, I look around only to realize we were at the high school. I'm lying on the floor using what smells like Kai's Jacket as a pillow, I see Elena hanging from the lights not too far away. "Sorry I snapped your neck again, I was trying to snap Elena's." Kai says walking into view,  and I huff. Everyone has been snapping my neck for months now it feels. I hear chains jingle and Elena speaks up.

"We're in my high school?" She asks groggy. Kai turns to her but walks over to the trophy case.

"Plenty of bathrooms, no flammable surfaces, and everyone is on winter break. It's no wonder America got dumb while I was locked up, they're never in school." Kai says as he bends down and chuckles, he turns back to look at us." Is that you? Oh, and there's Bonnie. You guys look so innocent smiling like nothing bad could happen to you." Kai stands up to his full height. "Anyways, do you mind if I try to turn your blood into acid again?" Kai asks turning to Elena and I stand up.

" What?" I spit out standing in front of her, he looks at me and smiles.

"Again?" Elena asks confused.

"Yeah, that's kinda how you got here in the first place, I was trying the whole acid-blood thing and I think I burst a few important capillaries in your brain because you passed out." Kai explains and I sigh.

"Kai, you don't have to do this." Elena says and he raises his hand but I grab it as I walk closer to him.

"Stop Kai, why are you doing this?" I ask him and he sighs with a disappointed look on his face.

"I already explained that to you Bambi, I'm practicing for the merge." He says.

"Not on her." I tell him and he shakes his head.

"Then on what?" He asks raising a brow." If you say on you I will snap your neck on purpose." He points a finger in my face with a pout, and I slap his finger and roll my eyes.

"On anything not breathing." I tell him and He shrugs.

"I can kill her first if you'd like, she wouldn't be breathing then." I scoff.

"I'm leaving." I look at Elena with an, 'I'm getting help look' and she nods.

I go to walk past Kai but he grabs my arm tightly." You leave, and I'll get angry and kill her, you sit tight and be a good girl, and everyone will make it out of this alive." Kai growls at me pulling me so my body is against his, he stares deeply into my eyes very seriously.

I glance at Elena, she shakes her head and I sigh." Fine." I spit out and yank my arm back. He points at the spot I was laying and I sit back down with a huff.

Kai looks back at Elena and slowly raises his hand." Listen, Kai, you don't have to do this." She says but he ignores her and chants a spell. I pull my knees to my chest as Elena starts to beg." Please, Kai, stop." She says but starts screaming.  I look away, not wanting to see this. "Stop it, stop it, Kai." Elena says" My ring. Kai your melting my ring." Elena says and I stand up.

"Kai stop." I say firmly but he doesn't.

"Kai, stop it!" Elena yells. With a growl I speed into Kai, pushing him against a wall. I hear the chains break and Elena speeds off. 

Kai groans as he hits the wall but glares at me. I smell the air and the veins come out from under my eyes as they turn red." Oh, no." I say and stumble away. Kai touches the back of his head and brings his hand up to his face.

"Ouch." He says as he stares at me with a blank face. I growl as I stare at the blood on his hand. My growl turns into a yell as I speed off so as to not kill him. 

I speed out of the building and go to the Salvatore house. I barge in to see Damon, Liv, Rick, and Jo.

"Damon." I yell and speed to him he catches me in his arms as I slowly relax and catch my breath.

"Kai has Elena at the school." I say my voice shaking.

He moves the hair out of my face." Did he hurt you?" He asks angrily, I shake my head.

"No, but Elena..." I trail off.

He nods." Stay here, I'll worry about Elena, you look like you need blood." He tells me and I nod. He sighs." Don't kill Bambi." He tells me and I let out a chuckle as I make my way to the woods as he makes his to the school.

When I get back from hunting I see Elena.

"Elena, I am so sorry, I came straight to Damon, I should have-" She cuts me off by pulling me into a hug.

"You did great Zoe, I'm fine." Elena says. I nod and sigh.
