I was in the kitchen laughing as Nora was burning our pancakes. Julian pulled a chair out for me to sit in, before standing up.

"Okay, that's it." Julian says grabbing a dish towel to fan the smoke away from me." That's it. Nora is off pancake duty." he says whipping her with a towel causing us all to laugh.

"Me? You were the one who wanted his chocolate chips to melt." Nora says as he continues to fan away the smoke.

"Melt, not burn  the house down and kill ourselves." Mary says and her and Nora share a fond look.

"Nobody is killing anybody before we eat." Julian says and I laugh.

" Yes, because we can't die hungry." I comment with an eye roll.

"I'm not wasting any of this food." Julian tells me passing me a cup of orange juice he just poured.

"Thank you." I say giving him a smile, he kisses the top of my head in response.

I smile and wave at Lily as she walks in.

"Oh! Darling, we woke you." Julian says happily.

"Aren't we having fun?" Lily asks making things a little awkward." This looks like quite the feast. What's the occasion?" Lilly asks and I tense. Uh, oh.

We all look at her a little disappointed.

"Don't tell me you forgot?" Mary Lou says and I look away awkwardly.

"Forgot what?" She asks and I bring my drink to my lips.

"It's our anniversary." Nora tells her." Mary Lou and I have been together for 133 years."

"Romantic." I say with a soft smile and they smile back.

"Of course, she remembered." Julian chuckles trying to save his love from the anger of his two daughters. "In fact, it was Lily's idea to host your party tonight."

I choke on the orange juice as I giggle. Julian's head snaps to me and I duck mine covering my mouth, he gives me a false stern look with a smile.

"Really? Lily Salvatore throws a party? Let me guess, we'll get drunk on tea and do needlepoint." Nora says making fun.

"Oh, yes. Nothing says "I've loved you for over a century," like falling asleep by 9:15." Mary says joining in and I break out into giggles I try to hide by standing up and walking to Beau.

"Girls, girls, girls, girls, girls, you're underestimating us. I think they're in for a wonderful surprise. Don't you my love?" Julian speaks.

"Yes. Yes. Quite the surprise."

I wait with the rest of the guests as Julian drags Nora and Mary in blindfolded. We cheer as he yanks the blindfolds off.

"This is epic." Nora says laughing.

"Who are all these people?" Mary asks.

"Friends. Food. Whatever you want them to be." Julian says then turns to me." Food for you love, you're eating for two." he says with a fond smile moving my hair back, I slap his hand away and stomp off.

"Was it something I said?" Julian asks the girls.

"She's a ripper, Julian." Nora says gently and he sighs. I hear his footsteps approach me as I drink orange juice from a Champaign glass at the bar.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know. There is still plenty for us to learn about each other." Julian says and I sigh.

"I know." I say softly.

" I know how hard it is for Lily, I can only imagine how hard it is for you."  He tells me coming closer now he knows I'm not angry.

I huff." Being a ripper is hard, being a pregnant ripper is harder. As a ripper you're hungry all the time, being pregnant you're hungry all the time but no longer hold the patients to hold back or care to." I tell him and he wraps his arm over my shoulder." Go to the girls, they need their father." He kisses my cheek before going to the girls. I watch with a smile happy, they're happy when Lilly shows up.

"What's going on here." I walk over with a sigh. Julian drops the girl he was feeding on and I snarl as I smell the blood." Now, look what you've done." I snarl before speeding to a girl and ripping into her neck. I was pulled away before I could kill her by Beau." Get her out of here." Lilly says and he speeds me away.

I convince Beau to go back as I walk around town.

I go back when Nora texts me and she tells me what Valarie told her.

Stefan finds us and tells us Lily staked herself to kill Julian and we go straight to her.

I take her hand and lean down to her ear." You were the best mother that I've ever had." I tell her and she smiles sadly at me. I pull away sobbing but get pulled into a chest. Beau holds me and I hold him as tears run down my face, I see Damon over his shoulder and pull away.

He opens his arms out and I walk into them.

"I'm sorry." I tell him." Sorry for cutting you out of my life, sorry for treating you like shit." I tell him.

"Shh. It's okay, I'm sorry too. I get it now, you loved him." He tells me and I nod.

"I'm sorry."
