Getting back I hear Damon and Bonnie talking to the new guy.
I walk in and stand in front of the guy who was tied to the chair.
"Why did you have a picture of me?" I ask him and he smiles at me.
"Because you're beautiful." He tells me and I frown.
Damon pulls me behind him." Watch it." Damon says pointing the poker he was holding at him.
I volunteered to get Kai the materials he needed so I could stop and get more blood. After draining 20 blood bags I get back home to see an annoyed Bonnie and Damon.
"Found the shit you need." I say tossing the bag on the table. He stares at me with a dopey smile. I shrug." Now what?"
"I can't show you with my hands taped." Kai says and I sigh and roll my eyes.
I grab the knife and cut the tape off.
"Thank you." Kai says and I nod.
"Okay, how is this pile of crap gonna get us out of here?" Damon asks.
"I'll explain as soon as you tell me what you did on May 10th, 1994." Kai says and I frown.
"What did you do now D?" I ask and he scoffs.
"Nothing recently." Damon says and I shake my head at him. Damon turns to Kai." What difference does it make?"
"Put it this way: Bonnie's magic is one part of the equation. My as-yet undisclosed knowledge is the other. Which means you would be hitching a ride home for free. I just want to know if you deserve to come along." Kai tells Damon.
"What about Zoe?" Damon asks and I roll my eyes as I sit on a chair.
"Why did you have to bring me into this?" I ask and Damon shrugs.
"I like her besides she's Bonnie's twin." Kai says and shrugs giving me a wink. I scoff at the flirty man. Damon snatches the knife I was playing with and grabs Kai.
"Or I could just torture you until you say something useful." Damon says and I sigh throwing my head back dramatically.
"If you torture me, I'll get mad and then I won't want to help you." Kai tells Damon and then looks at me." What kind of person needs to have that explained to them?" Kai asks me and I turn to Bonnie.
"Do something please?" I ask and she sighs and takes the knife from Damon." Play nice." she says and I scoff. Damon doesn't play nice.
Kai sits on the couch as Bonnie and Damon argue.
I wince as I watch Kai scoop up the jam with his hands and eat it." Eww."
I walk back to my room not interested in Damon's hell story. Besides that, the sound of Bonnie and Kais heart beats are ringing in my ears.
My nose twitches when I smell blood.
"You shouldn't have done that." I hear Damon says and I speed downstairs. I snarl as I tackle Kai to the ground.
"Whoa! Is it weird that she's trying to kill me and she is still turning me on?" Kai asks from under me. I snarl and go to bite into his neck.
"Motus." Bonnie yells and I go flying off Kai and hit into the wall. I stand with a snarl and speed back to him but Damon intercepts it and grabs my shoulders.
"Hey, hey, hey, it's me, it's Damon everything's gonna be fine, you gotta fight this." Damon says holding me in place.
"I can't." I say shaking my head, the need to drain they're body of blood being so overwhelming.
"You can Zoe, I know you can." Bonnie speaks up.
"I've been sneaking blood bags." I finally admit and it goes deadly quiet in the room.
"What?" Bonnie asks almost hurt.
"I haven't done the bunny diet in a month. I figured Bonnie was the only human around what a better time to learn-"
"To not be a ripper? Zoe it doesn't work that way, you know that. You will always be a ripper." Bonnie interrupts me and tears fall down my face as I fight against my instincts.
"I never wanted to be like this." I sob and Damon pulls me to his chest.
"We're gonna take a walk." Damon says and pulls me outside with his arms wrapped around me.
I sniffle drying up my tears as we sit outside.
"I'm not mad, I get it, but you should have told me." Damon says.
"Damon, is Bonnie right? Am I always gonna be a ripper?" I ask him and he sighs.
"Yes. I've tried to help my brother for over 100 years Zoe. It never worked. You can't change a ripper, it's just how your brain was made." Damon says and I look away.
After a while, Damon sighs." I'm gonna check on Bonnie." Damon says and heads inside.
A minute later someone sits next to me.
"You are one hungry vampire." Kai says and I huff out a laugh.
"Yeah, us rippers are pretty hungry." I say and Kai turns to me.
"S-so what is a ripper exactly?" Kai asks and I sigh.
"A vampire that can't control their bloodlust we feed until there's nothing left and move on to the next victims, only to drain them too." I tell him and he hums.
I glance over at him to see him looking out into the yard.
"Sorry, I almost killed you." I tell him and he chuckles and shrugs.
"My fault. I have one more question." He says and I nod." If your twin sister is a witch, that means you were a witch before you were a vampire, what was that like?" He asks and I sigh. I reach up and play with my necklace, Kai takes note and squints at it.
" I didn't have magic before being a vampire so I wouldn't know." I tell him and he shakes his head.
"That's not possible, unless..." Kai says but trails off.
"Unless what?" I ask but something else catches my ear.
"Damon she almost killed Kai, maybe we should lock her in the cellar until the human blood is out of her system or maybe I can find a spell and we can drain her faster." Bonnie says and tears rise to my eyes.
"You okay?" Kai asks and I shake my head and scoff.
I look at him and feel the veins under my eyes rise.
"Whoa, you're not gonna try and kill me again, are you?" Kai asks.
"Tell Bonnie I said screw you." I tell Kai and speed off.
I find a hospital kinda far away and I start to drain the blood supply.
