Bailee Potter

Rain

"No way." Bailee thought. she walked over to the person.
"Hi Bailee, I thought you might be out here."
"Hi Draco." Bailee said.
Draco stood up from the bench and took both of Bailee's hands and held them. He stared into her eye's.
"You know that Cedric's death wasn't your fault right?"
Bailee didn't speak. Draco took this as a no.
"There was nothing you could do. It happened too quickly."
Bailee still said nothing.
"Well, you will always have me." Draco said.

Bailee looked up at him and smiled with sad eyes. They sat down on the bench together. Bailee rested her head on Draco's shoulder. She was really happy he was here. They watched the rain. Whenever the wind blew, water misted her face and blew her hair back. She looked up at Draco into his mysterious silver eyes. He looked back into her emerald green eyes. She leaned upwards and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. He put an arm around her waist and she scooted closer to him. She felt light and happy.
"I love you Bailee"
"I love you too Draco"
She didn't know why but tears quietly slipped down her face. She didn't know if they were tears of happiness or if the situation was just overwhelming. I mean two seconds ago she was being tortured and now she was cuddling with her boyfriend watching the rain. She heard thunder up ahead. She looked over to the courtyard. Draco looked too.
"Bailee... do you want to go dancing in the rain."
Bailee smiled not thinking this moment could get any better.
"Yes... of course I would. Bailee stood up. She transfigured her clothes into a Light pink, flowy, silk dress. Draco looked at her mesmerized. He took off his sweater so he just had his white undershirt on. He reached down and held her hand as he led her to the courtyard. They got to the middle of the courtyard. Rain poured down. Bailee laughed, so did Draco. He put one hand around her waist and held her hand in the other. She put one hand on his shoulder and held his hand in the other. They paced back and forth staring into each other's eyes. He held her hand high and she spun out, water splashing up as she stepped in each puddle. She looked back at him. He spun her in and held her close again. They danced in circles around and around laughing and smiling. Seconds turned to minutes. She twirled outwards and then ran towards Draco, he picked her up by the waist and lifted her into the air. She tilted her head upward and let the rain wash over her face. She laughed as Lightning danced across the sky in beautiful colors of white and blue. Draco brought her back down. Her curly hair, dripping wet, was draped over her shoulders. Her eyes shone bright with excitement and happiness. Her lips, cherry red and she had the slightest blush. Freckles were distantly scattered across her nose and under her eyes.
"God your beautiful" Said Draco
Bailee blushed even more. She hugged Draco around the neck. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Draco softly kissed Bailee. After a moment she kissed him back fiercely. He tasted like peppermint, she tasted like vanilla. Her dress was flowing in the wind gracefully. She couldn't have been happier. They held close together letting their lips part. Breathing heavily. They smiled at the fact they had each other to hold close to. To be with during everything that was going on. Not a care in the world during this moment. The rain falling, the thunder and lightning, the gentle breeze. All was well.
