The spinning stopped and she was back on the ground. All was silent as if everything had been sucked out of the world. She kept her eyes shut, afraid of what she might see if she opened them. She didn't move. She laid on the ground and breathed in the smell of wet grass. She could feel herself clutching something. Pain echoed through every vein in her body. She felt breathless. Slowly as if in slow motion she lifted her head. Silent tears slipped down her face. She wore a blank expression as she stared down at Cedric. She could still see his last smile etched on his face. Silent tears slipped down as she stared at cedric. Her whole body was shaking. Then suddenly, someone turned on the volume. Cheering echoed around the stadium. Cheers turned into screams and gasps. She closed her eyes. Emptiness flooded her. Blackness clouded her eyes. People were surrounding her. Calling her name, calling Cedrics name. Everything swam in and out of focus. Shock kept her grounded at Cedric's side. More tears soaked the grass below her. Someone else called her name. They turned her shoulder and then she looked back up again. Everything seemed like a blur. She couldn't move. She opened her eyes to see the starry night sky. Her green eyes blurred. She saw the face of dumbledore come into focus. "Bailee" he said, "let go." Reality hit. The trauma of what just happened shifted securely in Bailee's mind. Someone was trying to lift her to her feet. "He's dead" someone shrieked. "Let go." Someone else said. Bailee allowed herself to be pulled away. Her mouth opened in shock. Numbness still followed her gaze to Cedric. Shouts and screams echoed throughout the stadium. "She needs the hospital wing!" "Whats going on!?" "Cedrics dead!" The rough hand of someone pulled Bailee away. She followed, numb to the pain of her broken leg and cut arm. "He's back." She whispered "Voldemort's back." She caught the look of Dumbledore's eyes as she was pulled away. The next thing she knew she was in a dimly lit office. Someone was talking to her. She looked up to see Moody pacing the room. He looked distressed and agitated. "Were there others!?" He asked roughly "In the graveyard!" Bailee looked at him. "I never said anything about a graveyard." He looked at Bailee with a menacing look in his eye. He rushed forward and pointed his wand at Bailee. She backed up against the wall and he pressed his wand into her neck. He grabbed her arm and pressed his thumb deeply into the jagged gash in her arm. More blood soaked her shirt. She screamed. It echoed through the room. Her senses quickly came back into focus but then went dizzy again from blood loss. The door banged open. "Stupify!" Dumbledore shouted. His face was full of fury. Moody flew across the room and landed heavily in a chair. Following professor Dumbledore came Professor McGonagall, and professor Snape. Bailee was slumped against the wall, clearly disoriented from blood loss. Her leg was broken and her arm was bleeding furiously. McGonagall rushed over to Bailee and grabbed her arm, trying to lead her out of the room. Bailee let out a small cry. She was still hardly paying attention, her mind was still back in the graveyard with Voldemort. Dubledore walked over to Moody and Snape poured something into his mouth. At this moment moody began to change. His glass eye fell out and his clothes grew large on him. Then, sitting in the chair was Barty Crouch Jr. Bailee was shocked. Dubledore began asking him questions. He was forced to reply, notably because of what Snape had poured into his mouth. He started sputtering out information about what happened and how Voldemort returned. Bailee stood there all the while, shaking in pain and barely being able to stand. One they had gotten rid of Barty Crouch Jr, Dumbledore turned to Bailee. "I understand you have been through a lot tonight but I need you to tell me everything that happened." Dumbledore said. "Oh Albus, surely this could wait until tomorrow." McGonagall said. Dumbledore held up his hand. "I need the information while it is still fresh in her mind." Dumbledore brought a chair over and told Bailee to sit. She didn't know if she would be able to relive the events. Bailee sat down and began to retell everything that happened. She paused many times to bring herself back to the present because she was still in shock. She paused before retelling how Cedric died. Her mind wandered to all the good memories they had shared together. Then the moment he was killed. At the beginning of the year they started off as friends. Then as soon as they found out they were going to be competing in the triwizard tournament they formed an alliance. Slowly they fell in love. Cedric asked her to the Yule ball. She wore a slivey blue dress and he wore black dress robes with a little pale blue rose. That was one of her favorite memories. Before they entered the maze they said good luck to each other and just in case anything happened to either of them, they had one last goodbye kiss. She was trying to hold on to the small bit of sanity that was allowing her to not break down in tears. She blinked trying to hold them back. She continued on, next describing how Wormtail made the potion and how he had to take her blood for it by using the silver dagger. Then how Voldemort had come back. She described the graveyard and how all the death eaters appeared. Then she paused again. Remembering when Voldemort had touched her scar. The pain. She could still feel it. She recalled how he used the imperius and cruciatus curse on her. Then she was forced to battle him and how their wands connected. She saw her parents and Cedric. Dumbledore mumbled something about priori incantatem. She continued on about how Cedric asked her to take his body back so she released her wand and used acid to bring the cup back to her. After a moment Mcgonagall helped Bailee stand and started to direct her to the hospital wing. "Where is she!" "He just saw her outside the maze and now she's gone. What happened!?" Bailee heard voices coming from inside the hospital wing. She dreaded seeing people. She wanted to lay alone somewhere so one could ever speak to her again. The doors opened and there Bailee saw Mrs Weasley, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Draco, Mr Weasley, and Madam Pomfrey. "Bailee!!" Mrs Weasley shrieked "Oh thank goodness you're alright!" "Alright? Madam Pomfrey said next. "She has a broken leg and her arm cut open for goodness sakes!" Mcgonagall helped Bailee over to the bed. Madam Pomfrey began healing Bailee's leg and then applied bandages to her arm. The pain was horrible but Bailee tried not to show it. Dumbledore demanded that no one should ask her questions because she had been through a lot. Bailee was thankful for this. She just needed time to think about everything. Part of her mind wondered if Cedric was really dead. But of course he was, she argued back. It was a small flicker of hope. Hermionie and Ron kept asking her if she was ok. She mostly just got worried glances and reassuring looks. She felt immensely tired but tried to act normal. She sat there listening to arguments all until it was just her and Draco in the wide windowed hospital wing. He sat down on her bed next to her. "Bailee..." Bailee just stared at him with broken eyes. "I know my father... was there at the graveyard... I'm so sorry." He looked up at Bailee with tears pooling in his eyes. "It's ok, Draco. It's not your fault." Bailee took his hand in hers. "It's not your fault Draco." Draco smiled and gave Bailee a soft hug. She winced a little bit from being so sore. "It's not your fault either you know... that Cedric died." he said Bailee didn't say anything. For some reason, reassuring Draco made her feel better. "You should get some rest." He said. "Yeah." Bailee whispered "Thanks." Draco said as he got up to leave. "Anytime." She replied. She lay back on her pillows and stared up at the ceiling. She heard the hospital wing door close. She sighed, closing her eyes. It was gonna be a rough next couple of years.
