Bailee woke up and looked around. She lay there for a moment watching dust swirl in the chink of sunlight falling through the gap in her four poster hangings. Judging by the sleepy silence and the fresh beam of sunlight, it was just after daybreak. She slipped out of bed and put on a navy blue hoodie. She also put on a pair of loose jeans and a necklace with little black gems, similar to the one on the ring Draco gave her. The only sound apart from the distant twittering of birds was the slow, deep breathing of her fellow Gryffindors. She walked over to the bathroom and straightened her hair using a spell she learned from Hermione. She brushed her teeth and put on chapstick. Then she walked out of the dorm and into the common room. Hermionie was lying asleep on the couch surrounded by books. She has clearly been studying. Bailee stepped out of the portrait hole and wondered what she was going to do today. It was a Saturday and she didn't have any plans. She decided to go to the great hall early to get an early breakfast. Bailee walked through the halls until she reached the doors to the great hall. She breathed in and out. 'I'm going to have a proper breakfast,' she thought
She stepped inside and walked over to the gryffindor table. She sat down at the table and got a piece of toast, some eggs, strawberries, and a goblet of pumpkin juice. A few people sat next to her and began chattering with her. Pretty soon she was talking and laughing with a group of gryffindors she had rarely met. Just then Seamus came sprinting over to the table yelling about Azkaban and a person named Bellatrix lestrange. He slammed the daily prophet down on the table sending nevilles oatmeal flying.
"There's been a mass breakout from Azkaban!" he shouted.
There were gasps from all around the table. A lot of people looked at Bailee, expecting her to say something. Neville stared at the paper and the laughing picture of Bellatrix lestrange. He stood up abruptly and walked away but no one really noticed. Bailee got up too.
"Where are you going?" a couple people asked.
"I just have to take care of something." she said and walked away following Neville.
Neville turned the corner and walked quickly to a small corridor by the room of requirement. Bailee followed and caught up with him.
"Neville, what's wrong?" she asked.
"It's nothing," he said.
Bailee placed a hand on his shoulder.
"If you wanna talk about it you can."
Neville sighed and turned around to look at Bailee.
He paused.
"Bellatrix Lestrange... tortured my parents. She wanted information but they wouldn't give in. she tortured them both to madness."
"Neville... I'm so sorry."
"Don't get me wrong, I'm proud to be their son." he said confidently. "It's just hard because now that she's broken out... it's like... My parents don't get the justice they deserve."
Bailee paused...
"Yeah... But hey, we're ready, we've been practicing spells and defense for weeks now, when the time comes you'll make your parents proud... that's a promise." She said kindly.
"Thanks, Bailee." He gave her a soft hug.
Bailee turned around to walk back to the great hall.

Days turned into weeks; Umbridge wasn't giving Bailee an easier time and neither was Professor Snape. Bailee dreaded the nightly Occlumency lessons. She was getting better but Snape never thought it was good enough. Most of the time she just wanted to be alone and cry. The anticipation for the future weighed on her every second. Her dreams weren't getting any better either. Most of the time she was back in the dark room filled with the glowing blue orbs. Sometimes she would see Voldemort but only for a second. The leaves died and it began to snow. Draco had joined Umbridge's High inquisitorial squad inorder to keep them away from Dumbledore's army.Bailee spent her evenings curled up in a large armchair reading books by the fireplace. She mostly was studying for her OWLS which only added to her daily stress. Dumbledore had been driven out of the School by Umbridge so she was now the Headmistress. She took control over everything and the rules were stricter than ever. Her and Draco went on the best dates. Bailee felt like they were the only time she was truly happy. Bailee told Draco about everything going on inside her head. He thought she might have depression and definitely anxiety. She didn't want to accept it though. That fact that something was wrong with her. After all she was supposed to be the chosen one, the girl who lived. 'All these stupid titles', she thought. Strangely enough, she found herself looking forward to detention sometimes. The pain from her hand helped her forget about her worries, at least for a little while. She thought it was weird but tried not to think about it too much. She decided she should take a shower because she had gotten done with quidditch practice a few hours earlier. She climbed the stairs to her dorm. Once inside she headed to the bathroom and turned on the hot water. Steam filled the bathroom. She slipped into the shower and let the hot water drown her. After a couple minutes she sat down on the bottom of the shower and held her head in her hands. The steaming water pounding on her back. 'How did it get to this?'
