Me And The X-Men

Chapter 5

After about four hours of flying and Pietro talking none stop. Sabertooth finally shut him up by breaking his nose. If I could I would of laughed till it hurt like hell. "We'll be there in about twenty minutes." Mystice said to me and I nodded. As we got closer I could see the White House. As we flew over I didn't see people on the streets.

"Were is everyone?" Pietro asked while holding his nose.

"Charles." Magneto said and opened the door to the helicopter. He got out and flew to the ground. I landed the helicopter in the street. "I dought the President would leave his post." We headed to the White House and found the X-Men in front. Magneto turned to me. "Kill them." I flew up into the air and started to shoot lazers at them. They scattered and Scott shot lazers at me. One hit me and I landed on a car, made a pretty big dent but I didn't realy feel it. I got off and threw it at them. Kitty phased though it and Peter caught it and threw it back. I moved out of the way and Logan wrapped his arms around me.

"Joey, don't make me hurt you." He said. I flew up, unwrapped his arms and was about to throw him to the ground when I managed to stop myself. I closed my eyes and tried as hard as I could to hold on to him. "That's it Joey, keep fighting." I started to fly back down when Magneto took control of Logan and slammed him on the ground. He made a dent in the sidewalk and I went bazzerk. I flew staight for him and shot laziers at him. He move cars in the way and pulled out a remote. He pushed a botton and I felt a sharp pain in my neck.

"Kill them!" He shouted. I turned back to the X-Men and bolted straight for Jean. She made things fly me way but I dodged them till I stood in front of her. I punched her in the stomach and she went flying in the air. When she landed she wasn't moving and Scott started to shoot at me again. I headed for Peter but he hit me before I could get him. So I quickly got behind him and through him at Kitty. His skin went from metal back to skin and hit her. They where out cold. As I turned toward Scott, Logan tried to grab me but I through him and hit Scott. Laura and Logan where the only ones still standing.

"We can't beat her." Laura said to Logan and he nodded.

"I hope the Professor is ready." With that they ran into the White House and I followed them. Once I was inside I collasped on the floor.

"I'm sorry, Joey, but I had no choice.'' Dad came from another room. He was trying to get me to black out but as much as I wanted him to I wouldn't let him. I got up and walked over to him. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up out of the wheelchair. "Joey, honey, you can stop this. All you have to do is fight it."  As I was about to through him across teh room, someone came up behind me and jurked the divise off the back of my neck. I callasped and let go of Dad. "Do it." Logan came over and injected something into my skin. Everything started to go fuzzy then black.

"Joey, wake up we need you." I heard Peter's voice in the distance. "Joey!" My eyes snapped open. We where outside and I heard someone scream. Peter turned his head. "Kitty!" He turned and left. I sat up and saw Logan fighting Sabertooth, Scott and Jean fighting Mystice, and Peter, Kity, and Laura fighting Magneto. I struggled to stand up and to my surprise I did without falling. Mystice came over to me. She was about to attack me when I grabbed her and flew into the air. When I was pretty high I stopped and looked her in the eyes.

"Why does Magneto want me to kill people?" I asked.

"Because he hates humans." She answered.

"You have three seconds to tell me how he made that divise or I'll drop you." She just stared at me. "One...two...three" I dropped her and she turned into a bird. I shot her with a lazer and it knocked her out. As she was about to hit the ground I caught her. I tore off the bumper of a car and wrapped it around her. As I turned toward Logan and Sabertooth, Sabertooth had Logan pinded to the ground and was digging his claws into him over and over again. I shot a lazer at him and sent him flying about 100 yards. I ran to Logan, who had a big pudle of blood around him. "You OK?" He nodded.
