Chapter 11

Joey's POV

I strugle to get James down stairs. I enter the elevator, when the doors close I dropped him. "What is your problem?!" I yelled at him. He stood up and stared at me.

"He gives her everything. Nothing to me." He siad.

"That's not true and you know it." I said.

"What has he done just for me?" He screamed at me. "He leaves me when she comes around. And he takes my toys with him." I hit the stop button on the elevator. He started to hit me so I grabbed his arms and pinned him to the wall. "Let go! She'll pay for taking him away from me." I made some metal go around his hand so he wouldn't move. When he couldn't move he screamed at the top of his lungs. I overed his mouth.

"Shush!" I hissed at him. "Unless you want to live outside, you be quiet and listen to me." I moved him hand and he stared at me. "He does so many things for you and you don't care."

"He does nothing for me!" He screamed. "He does everything for her! I HATE HER!" I covered his mouth again and this time he hit his head on the wall.

Logan's POV

I can hear what they are saying and so can Lexis. She ran to her room after hearing the last part he said. I think about things he said and they where all true. When I'd spend time with him, Lexis would come and I go to her. I'm the worst dad ever.

Joey's POV

I hit the button to start the elevator again. We went to the lowest level. I took him down the hall, to the last door. Once the door opened I dragged him and set him on the bed. "This is the same room Grandpa put me in to help me with my powers. In here you can't use yours and your staying here until you can be nice. And I'll send Daddy down to talk to you." He didn't look at me.

Logan's POV

I heard the elevator start moving again and I heard noises in the next room. A door closed and I heard foot steps running down the hall. I opened the door and saw Lexis with a bag. She was rushing down the stairs. I followed and she went outside. When she got to the woods I rushed after her. Why didn't I see that coming, I asked myself. I saw her standing next to a tree and talking to it. "No, I'm running away."

"Well, sweetheart, you can stay with me." A very familar voice said. "It's nice and it has an ocean room. With a tank with fish in it.'' Lexis had an excited look.

"Really? How many?" She started to walk out of view.

"Many." The voice suddenly had a name to go with it. Sabertooth. "Now how about you tell me why your running away."

"My brother hates me." Lexis said. I quickly rushed past some trees and waited for them. When they came into view. He was holding her and they turned toward me. I had my claw out and ready to kill him. "Daddy?"

"Put her down!" I said to him. He laughed and put a claw to her neck.

"I don't think so, runt." His long blonde hair blew in the wind. "I'm ganna take my neice and my nephew." Lexis looked at me then him.

"You aren't my brother!" I said and went to get Lexis from him but he pushed the claw so it drue some blood from her neck. 

"Daddy!'' She whinned. She tried to push his hand away but she wasn't strong enough. "Daddy, make him stop!" She was crying.

Logan, what's happening? Joey asked me.

Sabertooth has Lexis. I said.

What? How? She asked.

 She was trying to run away. I siad.

"Well, runt, are you going to stop me or do I get to take her?" He asked as he dug the claw into her neck a little deeper. Lexis started to take deep breaths and her claws came out. "What the-" She stabbed him in his shoulder. He flinched then threw her and she hit a tree. I tackled Sabertooth and started to stab him. He kicked me off and grabbed a stick that was laying down near by. He headed toward the Lexis, who was holding her head and crying. I was about to hit him again when layzer got him instead. I looked up and saw Joey. She came down hard on him and started to beat him. I looked at Lexis and saw James fly up into the air with her. I joined Joey.

James's POV

I fly to our room and set her on the balcony. When I set her down she runs to the door. I fly over and stand infront of it. "No, Mommy said to keep you here." She ran to the closet and closed it behind her. I walked over and opened it. She tried to close it but I was stronger. Once I got in she went to the back of the closet. I walked over and pulled her up. She screamed and I hugged her. "I'm sorry." She didn't move or say anything. "I don't hate you." I looked at her and whipped away her tears. "Your my sister. I love you."

"But you said you hate me." She had more tears come.

"I was mad because Daddy spent more time with you then me." I said and whipped away her tears.

"Give me a hug." She said and I did. "I love you, Jamie."

"I love you too, Lexy." I kissed her cheek. I heard the door open.

"Awww now ain't that sweet?'' I turned and saw the man that was heading to Lexis. I kept Lexis behind me and he laughed. "You think you can protect her? All you can do is fly." I flew up and shot layzers at him. He flew across the room and landed on my bed.

"Just get me up there." I heard Daddy outside the window. The guy grabbed me and threw me out the window. I felt an arm go around me. "James, are you ok?" I nodded.

"Lexis is still in the closet." I grabbed him and flew into the room. The man had a screaming, skwerming Lexis in his hands.

"Hold still, you little brat." He said and covered her mouth. I threw Daddy at him and he tackled the man. I grabbed Lexis and took her outside. Scott and Jean came over.

"What happened?" Jean asked.

"Daddy's fighting a mean man."Lexis hugged Jean's legs. "Don't let the mean man hurt Daddy."

"It's ok, Lexis. He won't hurt Daddy." Jean said and I was Daddy and the man fall out the window. I pushed Jean and Lexis out of the way. And they landed on me.

"James." Daddy pulled the man off me and picked me up. "James, you ok?" I laughed.

"I didn't feel a thing." I said and he put me down. The man was running to us and I shot him with a layzer. I flew up and grabbed the back of Daddy's shirt. "Come on, Daddy. No one tries to hurt my sister and gets away with it." I threw him at the man and saw that the rest of the x-men and some other kids came running over. As they fought the man, I went to Lexis and hugged her. "I love  you, Lexie." I said and kissed her cheek.

"You said that before." She kissed my cheek. "I love you, too, Jamie." I flew us up to our room and we watched the fight. "Lexie, do you know who the man is?"

"He says he's Daddy's brother. And Daddy said he wasn't his brother. And Daddy called him Sabertooth." She said. She hugged me. "I'm tired." I took her to the bed and we crawled on. We fell asleep after a while.
