5:48 pm, you were looking at yourself in the mirror as your cousin finished styling your hair. You asked her to help you get ready; although you have knowledge in make-up and styling your hair, you weren't that confident whether it would suffice the standard of the banquet tonight. You smiled slightly once your cousin grinned and gave you a thumbs up as if signaling that she was done with you. You looked at your reflection in the mirror and hummed in approval. You liked the way she curled and accessorized your hair.

"Aight I'm done, you look gorgeous! Your mans gonna knock his socks off once he sees you." She giggled while shaking your shoulders, brimming in excitement. You chuckled at that and shook your head.

"I don't know about that." You snorted and grabbed your small jewelry box. "I honestly think I'm gonna be the one who will be surprised." You added while pursing your lips. You were aware that Suna has a great sense of fashion and given that he told you he would surely dress up for tonight... Well, you could only anticipate the unexpected. Which was why you prepared as much as you could. You didn't want to embarrass him and show up with something plain. He has a reputation to uphold and you would play a part in that later.

"What do you mean?" Your cousin asked, raising a brow with a small confused smile. She played with the ends of your hair softly while looking at you in the mirror.

"He is Suna Rintarou after all. Did you see him show up, in any event, wearing something plain?" You turned your head to spare her a glance before facing the mirror once again.

"Not gonna lie, never. To be honest I was shocked when Vogue Japan chose Ushijima Wakatoshi for their magazine cover instead of him. He can surely pull off their concepts, even the daring ones." She stated before letting go of your hair and sitting on the edge of your bed.

You nodded in agreement, "Which is why he jokingly told me that Vogue Japan has shit taste. But hey, Ushijima is a great choice too." You shrugged with a lopsided smile, recalling the exquisite magazine cover that featured Ushijima.

"To be fair, both of them are fucking attractive so they both win in my book." Your cousin smugly said and you chuckled at that.

"More attractive than your boyfriend?" You jabbed a little.

"Oh hell nah, my baby is the most attractive of them all." She huffed.

"I figured." You cackled and focused on choosing your necklace and earrings. You have decided to go all out on your jewelry as well but not to the point of tackiness. You just didn't want to look plain.

"Anyways, I'm gonna go now since I need to get ready for a date tonight. Call me if you are ever in trouble and I shall bail you out." She winked before gathering her things that were scattered around your room.

"Yeah yeah, thank you again for helping me. Also, you better look good for your date tonight." You mindlessly commented, your eyes focused on your small amount of necklaces.

"Why?" Your cousin playfully rolled her eyes at your tone.

"Don't know, he might propose to you tonight. Who knows." You lightly let out but you caught your cousin cupping her face upon processing your words. You smiled, it would be nice if her boyfriend really proposes tonight since she had been wanting that for a year now. "In that event, please do call me because I need the details." You laughed and granted her a sly smirk.

"Yeah yeah I'll call you. Bye now." Your cousin huffed and marched away to evacuate your domain. You shook your head then glanced at your clock. You still had a lot of time before Suna comes.

You started to sing a song stuck in your head, not knowing that your cousin had met Suna outside your house.

Your cousin's eyes almost bulged out of their sockets upon gazing at the luxurious car parked right outside your abode. She gawked at Suna the moment he stepped out of the said car. She blinked profusely once she got a good look on his outfit. She cupped her mouth, not even being discreet about how surprised she was.
