Twenty-Seven

It was around 7 am when Suna slowly fluttered his eyes open, blinking slowly as his senses started to get back to him. He took a deep breath and a smile instantly made its way to his lips when he smelt the familiar scent of his products on your hair. He pulled you closer to him, hands wrapped around your waist as he formed circles on your back. He just silently stared at you, admiring your sleeping form. His eyes scrutinized your features one by one as if he was trying to memorize your everything and engraved it into his mind. He then leaned in and planted a soft kiss on the crown of your head, his heart swelling in utter elation.

It always felt so right to wake up next to you every morning.

He seemed to disturb you for you suddenly groaned and stirred in your sleep. When you started to stretch, Suna knew he had awakened you. "Good morning." His morning voice vibrated in your eardrums, making you smile as you admired his deep tone secretly.

"Good morning." You mumbled, eyes still closed as you hugged him. You tried your best to open your eyes but you were still too sleepy to accomplish that feat. Suna noticed it and he couldn't help but chuckle at you.

"Still sleepy, my love?" He rasped, pulling you close to kiss your forehead. When he pulled back, a joyful grin manifested on his lips. He was amused at the sight of you struggling to open your eyes.

"Mhmm..." You barely managed to answer his question and in split seconds, you were sleeping soundly again. Suna didn't say a thing but he burst out laughing when you started to drool on his shirt. Normally, he would be absolutely disgusted if someone were to drool on him. But he felt like it was okay for you to drool on him, he didn't really mind. Plus, you looked cute.

Suna rolled his eyes.

He must be so whipped for you at this point.

He was thinking whether he would wake you up or not but upon gazing at his digital clock that indicated the day and date as well, he decided he would let you sleep in. It was the weekend anyway and you were probably tired after what happened last night so he should probably let you be. He released a deep breath, his smile deepening as he closed his eyes to bask at the moment. He felt at peace and warm, his heart singing in joy as he held you tighter.

Minutes passed and just when he thought you drifted to sleep further, you groaned and opened your eyes. You blinked gently then looked up at him, smiling cutely when you saw him staring right back at you. "Good morning." You let out, almost inaudible.

"Good morning... again." Suna chuckled and playfully pinched your nose.

"Huh?" You popped, evidently confused.

"We already greeted each other." Suna gave you a toothy grin this time and instead of getting embarrassed, you mirrored him. You just couldn't help it, he looked so handsome smiling like that. And seeing this first thing in the morning? You could get used to it.

"I see, my brain's still half asleep, sorry." You giggled and just stared at him, holding eye contact.

"You're cute." Suna chirped out of the blue, just wanting to point out how adorable you looked in his eyes.

"You're cuter." You cackled and pushed yourself up to kiss the tip of his nose. You both chuckled at how cheesy you two were being. You then stared at him  for a moment and your eyes widened a little upon realizing something.

"What is it?" Suna asked, curious as to why you were making that expression.

"I just realized that I took two baths last night." You shook your head, accompanied with a soft chuckle.

"What?" Suna furrowed his brows together.

"I already took a bath before you came and got me then I took a bath with you again. I didn't even realize then." You wheezed in disbelief.
