Upon reaching McDonald's, Suna parked the car near the entrance and gazed at the inside of the restaurant. You copied him, checking if there were a lot of people inside. Once you both confirmed that there were little to no people inside, Suna softly tapped your thigh and turned off the engine, getting off of your car afterwards. You silently followed him, walking side by side. You slightly flinched when Suna snaked his arm around your waist, pulling you close to him. Despite knowing that no one would see the two of you, your eyes instinctively looked around the area nonetheless. To which Suna patted your side gently, looking down at you, reassuring you with a gentle smile.

"Relax, there are no customers inside, we'll be fine." He gently let out, caressing your flesh.

You blinked, astonished by the degree of his words. It was as if he knew you were overly cautious whenever you were outside with them and the reason behind it. You stared at his side profile for a second, to which he glanced at you momentarily before speaking once again.

"You'll be fine, I gotchu. But if you're not comfortable and anxious by being seen with me in public we can just go back to the car and go home." Suna uttered and stopped in his tracks, facing you as his eyes pierced into your confused ones. Your mouth parted a little, baffled by the fact that he knew about it.

"I believe I haven't told you anything about that matter yet." You stated, taken aback.

"I asked Atsumu about it because I noticed how stiff and anxious you are whenever we are together in public." Suna confessed, his hands reaching out to yours. He caressed your knuckles gingerly, as if he was trying to reassure you that he understood and he is willing to adjust for you.

"Ah, I see." You popped, still a little shocked that he asked Atsumu about it.

"I'm sorry, I should've asked you directly." He sincerely apologized and your heart swelled at that. You never knew Suna was capable of apologizing this quickly, not to mention in a sincere fashion. You always thought he'd rather apologize through his actions and rarely say it directly. But with your experience with him lately, it didn't seem like that at all. He would apologize face to face if he knew or thought that he needed to.

Back in high school, he'd rather die than to apologize to you even if he was the one at fault. There were a lot of times when he messed with you too much but he never apologized verbally to you, he always ended up buying you something or just hugging you out of nowhere then he would run away and won't talk to you for a day. But he's different now, he matured a lot and he learned how to use words in an apology. You were glad you could see his growth.

You squeezed his hands, assuring him that you weren't mad or disappointed. Smiling a little, you looked him in the eye. "Don't apologize, I'm cool with it since it saved me some time, right? So yeah, that's that, but I'm working on it little by little." You chimed, pulling him towards the restaurant.

"Alright." Suna chuckled and rested his hand on the small of your back, even opening the door for you and finding the table for the two of you. Being considerate, he chose the table at the far corner, where the cashier personnel wouldn't see you both that much.

"I'll order." You offered but Suna playfully shoved you back to your seat, earning a half hearted glare from you.

"I'll do it. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want them seeing all of that." Suna smirked and gestured to your neck. Suddenly, you were fully aware that your entire neck was exposed for the world to see, displaying all of your hickeys effectively. Your face flushed a little as you sunk into your seat, you were a little bashful about it. But at the same time, it wasn't like you would see anyone you knew, so you could probably just let it be.
