There was something weighing on Suna's chest.

It wasn't that evident at first especially when he hugged you tightly like he usually did upon arriving at your home. When he kissed you tenderly like the last time, fulfilling his promise. When he held you close, making you feel secure and warm in his embrace as you cooked dinner for the two of you. When he looked at you fondly as you told him about your day and he told you about his.

It was obvious however, when you noticed him stared at you a little longer than usual with a ghost of a bothered frown on his lips.

Suna didn't look like he was willing to talk about whatever was bothering him, so you remained quiet and focused on your current task at hand. Maybe he would feel a lot better if you just let him be?

However, even after you ate dinner, you could still feel that there was something he was sitting on. Yes, he was smiling and acting like the usual but there was something off about him. For some reasons though, it didn't feel like it was something negative, rather it felt like he was thinking about something that he wasn't sure how to talk about. So you ought to wait for him to find the courage to talk. After all, you wouldn't force him if he thought he wouldn't be able to bring it up yet.

Other than that, another thing that was unusual about Suna was, he was a bit more clingy.

You were currently washing the dishes and he would usually wait for you to finish by scrolling through his phone, chilling in the living room, but not this time. He was clinging to you from behind like a baby, his nose buried in the crook of your neck where his hot breath tickled your skin. He was quiet, swaying the two of you a little. He then released a heavy breath and that was your call to try to talk to him.

"Rin, is everything okay?" You gently asked, pausing your task just so you could give him your undivided attention.

"Yeah." He uttered but there was a lack of certainty in it which concerned you. He didn't sound like he wanted to elaborate though, so you resigned.

"Alright. But you know you can talk to me about everything, yeah?" You sweetly cooed, doing your best to sound patient and understanding so you could show him that you would be there if he needed someone to listen.

"Mhmm." He hummed before hugging you tighter.

Although you weren't content with how your attempt turned out, you respected his decision and continued washing the dishes.

Minutes felt like hours when Suna was holding onto you so tightly to the point you felt like he was clinging onto a national treasure that would vanish if he were to loosen his grip even just a little. On the bright side, it felt nice, warm, and secure- in retrospect, he always made you feel like that.

You started to hum to a random melody as you finished your chore, swaying the two of you a little and your heart swelled in delight when Suna didn't resist you. He just silently went along with it and even started humming with you.

Suna on the other hand was extremely anxious. There was a question that he wanted to ask but was too afraid to do so. Don't get him wrong, he wasn't scared of your answer if ever, rather he was having a hard time finding the timing. He was scared that if he messed up the timing, it would mess everything up.

So he silently sat on the question and waited for the right time. Even after you were done washing the dishes, he remained silent- heck, even when the two of you took a bath he didn't say a word.

It wasn't until you were mutely drying your hair in front of the mirror did the urge finally hit him. How could it not when the moment his eyes landed on your reflection, his world just lit up and he felt so warm and fuzzy inside? His eyes softened in fondness as he watched you in the mirror, a lovesick smile manifesting on his lips. His gaze locked on your face and when you noticed he was staring, you smiled at him warmly- he could've sworn his heart almost exploded.
