Twenty-Eight

Days passed after Yumi was caught and imprisoned; with enough evidence, Yumi was found guilty and would be spending some years in prison. The whole process wasn't as stressful as you thought it would be, if anything, Yumi was more annoying than any process that you've been through. The said girl was literally going bonkers and had every intention to harm you if she had the chance to, simply because you stole Suna from her, as what she said. She was screaming and causing a scene while glaring at you as if you killed her entire family while going on about how Suna was hers first and everything.

As you expected, Yumi was just one of those typical obsessed fans who thought their idols were theirs. She had a history of doing the exact thing she did to you, a few years ago, so it wasn't surprising that she went back to her old, bad habits this time around. It was pretty obvious that she hadn't learned her lesson yet. She was obviously messed up in the head as she screeched at you as if she really have all the right to own Suna for herself. She was very passionate about her claims to the point that if you didn't know she had gone insane, you would definitely believe her.

She was that too far gone.

"Love, you're spacing out again."

You flinched in surprise when Suna's deep voice echoed in your eardrums, breaking your train of thought. You suddenly remembered that you were in Suna's house, sitting on his lap as you both decided to watch a movie after a rather stressful day at work. It was 8:02 pm, the movie was almost halfway done and to be utterly honest you couldn't fucking remember what happened. You were spacing out that hard.

"Sorry, just thinking about what happened." You answered, leaning your back against his chest as you closed your eyes.

Suna snuggled his face on your shoulder, giving your neck a soft kiss before speaking, "Don't be sorry, I understand it's hard to get over it." He cooed, sounding too soft you almost melted.

Sometimes, Suna was really dangerous for you poor heart.

"Thank you for understanding. It's just that... people like Yumi really do exist huh?" You carefully let out, expressing your pure sentiments. The fact that more people out there were like Yumi was making your skin crawl. You knew you were safe now but you couldn't help but to worry, not for only yourself but for the others as well.

Suna took a deep breath before squeezing your body a little, his arms tightening a little around your waist. "Yeah, they do exist..." Suna trailed off. His hands then went under your shirt and slid to your sides, forming circles on your skin as an attempt to make you feel a little better. "But don't worry, you're safe now." He reassured you, kissing your temple.

Immediately, you smiled upon hearing that. You knew you were safe, but hearing that from him made you feel like not even a damn insect could hurt you. It was endearing, really.

"Thank you for reassuring me, Rin. I feel a lot better now." You honestly chimed and pulled away from him for a second just so you could face him. Once you were face to face with his handsome features, your smile widened unknowingly. You cupped his cheek using your right hand as your eyes traced his features carefully: from his disheveled hair, breathtaking sharp eyes that were gazing at you with too much fondness, sharp prominent nose, and his beautiful tempting lips.

Suna bit his bottom lip as he looked at you in the eye, his gaze then dropped to your lips. He slowly ran his tongue on his lips before focusing on your eyes again. "Keep looking at me like that baby and I might just devour you whole." He smirked and pinched your nose.

"Hey! I was just looking! Can't I admire how handsome you are?" You huffed and pouted, massaging your nose.

Suna cracked a shallow laughter before pulling you close, his strong arms pressing you against his toned torso. "Of course you can, but don't do it in a way that could cause issues." He explained, his lazy eyes darting down on you firmly. Your breath hitched at that. Even though you have seen Suna up close a lot of times already, he just never failed to take your breath away again and again as if it was the first time you were this close to him.
