One month later
"So, when exactly does the energy go back to normal?" Izabel asks one morning as she was eating breakfast with her family.
"I don't know, probably a year," Ally responds, helping Aria cut her pancakes. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, I'm still... normal. And pregnant." Izabel speaks with a shrug. "I wasn't expecting to still be pregnant."
"Well, when Yuele was out to sleep, her energy was put into the the atmosphere, so once that wears off, everything will be back normal again," Ally explains, chuckling as she went over to kiss Izabel's temple. "You're gonna have your baby, love."
Amelia enters the room holding her brother, Aeson. "Mom, I think Aeson is hungry. He was just crying and stuff."
Ally moves from her spot to grab her son from her oldest daughter. "He just ate before I came downstairs. He's usually just restless in the mornings."
Aeson was a peacefully baby the most part. He had his mornings and nights, but nothing Austin and Ally couldn't handle. They've already discovered one of his abilities: when he's happy enough, he can create plants around him. His nursery looks like a jungle.
Amelia takes a seat as she waits for her breakfast. "Can I go hang out with Lian today?"
Ally irks her eyebrow as she cradled her son. "No. You've been asking me this all week and you've gotten the same answer, Amelia. Why do you want to go to their village so bad?"
"Lian helps me with my training and powers! I wanna master my energy blasts and ground rumbles." Amelia exasperates.
"You're not supposed to train with anyone else but me, Amelia," Ally speaks with an irk of her eyebrow. "You know that."
Amelia frowns and rolls her eyes, mumbling, "Well, you're not advanced as Lian."
Ally hears that loud and clear, though. She glares at Amelia. "And you're not advanced enough to be training with Lian. Since you're feeling bold this morning, after practice you can go train the toddlers at the training center."
Amelia gapes but just groans and decides to finish her breakfast in silence.
Aria enters a second later, a sleepy expression still on her face. Ally sees her youngest daughter and smiles. "Hey, sweetie. You want breakfast?"
Aria shakes her head, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "I wet the bed."
Ally gapes slightly, but then sighs lightly. "Okay, let's go get you cleaned up. I gotta change your brother's diaper anyway."
As Ally and Aria vanish upstairs with Aeson to take care of business, Austin and Aurora finds themselves in the dining room next.
Aurora bounces over to her older sister with a wide grin. "'Melia, guess what?!"
Amelia irks her eyebrow as she stuffs a pancake in her mouth. "What?"
"I got to take down some bad guys this morning!" She exclaims, bouncing up and down. Austin chuckles at her excitement. "Dad and I were training and all of a sudden, this man comes out of nowhere firing shots of this kid! So I took a shot at the man and hit him right in the leg! Dad brought him to the jail after! It was so exciting!"
