Austin wakes up the next morning to someone stirring under him.

His eyes flutter open. Austin adjusts to the brightness of the morning's sunlight while he stretches in his position. The bruises on his body ached, but the stretch is very well needed.

Austin turns his head and plans to close his eyes again for more sleep, but Ally's brown eyes staring up at him stops him from doing so.

They both stare at each other for a while. Austin wasn't sure what to say; he didn't know if she was still upset with him. Then again, their bodies are tangled together. She could've tangled in his arms while she was asleep, but she hasn't even made an effort to move away from him.

Last night was scary. He could've lost her or the baby. Worst case scenario, he would've lost both. Knowing that they were in bad terms when it all happened left Austin in almost shambles. What if Ally would've died and they didn't even get to say 'I love you' yesterday?

It's worrisome to think about.

To his surprise, she pushes herself up to his lips without an explanation. Oh, right, she can read his mind.

Her lips peck his chapped ones a few times until he finally realizes what's going on. Austin responds to her kiss, gentle and soft. His eyes flutter closed once more as his arm moves to his waist to pull her even closer to him than she already was.

He can feel her hands clasp the base of his neck as she escalates their kiss with a sensual, opened-mouth kiss. Both of their breaths reek from the horrible reality that is morning breath, but neither of them seemed to care. Her tongue pokes his and Austin has no problem accepting her tongue swindling with his own.

Ally hovers herself over him just a bit and Austin pushes her hair out of their faces as they kiss.

They only stop kissing for the knocking on the door.

Austin jumps at the sudden event, but Ally just sighs as she pulls away from him and sits back in her spot. With a tired look and deep sigh, Ally reaches out her finger and unlocks their room door with her telekinesis. They look at the door and see the visitor who would rudely interrupt their activities.

To his surprise, it's his mother. He raises an eyebrow at her. "Mom? What's up?"

"Good morning, sweetie. I just came to see if you needed to be... bandaged..." she speaks suddenly uncomfortably, inverting her eyes from him while she raised her equipment. "Bad time?"

Austin furrows his eyebrows as he's confused by her question. "No... why?"

"You should just come back later, Mimi," Ally says to her mother in law, sending her a nice smile. "We'll be done talking by then."

"Yeah, I'll do that. See you both later." His mother chuckles awkwardly as she steps back into the hall.

"Wait, mom—" Slam! Austin looks confused at the door. He looks at Ally with a questioning stare. "What's up with her?"

"You're erect."

"I'm what?"

Ally's eyes drive themselves down the covers before they return by to his eyes to give him a pointed look. Austin looks to where she had just gestured to and his eyes widen slightly at the tent in the covers. It was quite big.

"Oh."

Ally smiles lightly and falls back into his side. She lands in the crook of his neck, so she presses kisses in the area. "I love you."
