Nathalie walked back down the stairs in her usual pan suit, and into the office, where instead of working, Gabriel was sitting on the couch, legs crossed, smirking as Nathalie entered the room.
N- What are you, getting paid for sitting around?
G- Well, that depends on what you decide.
She walked over to him, he looked up at her, smirking. She sat down next to him, letting him lean over, caressing her face softly. They heard Adrien coming down the stairs, Nathalie took out her phone, Gabriel opened his book.
A- I'll be out, Gorilla's driving me.
G- Have a good time.
F- You too.
She called, pulling Adrien out the door, closing it behind him. Gabriel watched as the car pulled away, Nathalie shut off her phone.
N- What part did you get to?
G- The part you were talking about, with the bee.
He set the book down, leaning over to kiss her, she kissed him back, melting inside. She never thought Gabriel would ever love her. This adventure had been amazing, she's the guardian of a miracle box, she reunited with her lost daughter, and is finally with the love of her life, things couldn't get better for her.
