Did I think the letter was a mistake?

Maybe.

But, as I walked towards the train station with my unenthusiastic parents, I realised that the action was irreversible and I had to face the fact that I had called Weasley's kiss good when I saw him back at school.

I hadn't told Tracey, or anyone else about what I had done. In fact, the only person that knew what I had done was our house elf that eavesdropped my overthinking session late last night. At the time it had really pissed me off, but after a short time I actually decided to get his opinion.

He had told me what I had written was basically shit and that it was embarrassing that I sent it altogether - so it didn't take me long to kick him out.

It was a quiet walk to the train station, my parents trailing not far behind myself, which of course I didn't mind all too much seeing as they wouldn't help much with my troubling situation. The only sound that filled the awkward silence were that of the other families heading towards the platform and muggles rushing to get to work. Why they would actively choose to go on the train, I will never know.

"I think we'll drop you off here" my mother spoke, cutting through my scrambling thoughts.

"Okay" I replied briskly, my concentration now diverted to the boy standing across the station. He had dark hair and wires from what I presumed to be headphones thrown over the nape of his neck. I know that my parents would be disappointed if I told them I thought a muggle was hot, but I swear they put something different in them.

"Are you going to say goodbye then?" my father ask, a slight harshness to his words.

"Oh yes," I choked "well, goodbye then"

At that, I went in to give my mother an unpleasant hug and was forced into giving my father a stern handshake.

Soon after giving my parents a wave goodbye, I found myself pushing my trolley of luggage through the wall and being immersed in the magic world I so desperately craved when I was at home.

Like usual, there were countless frogs hopping about and rats running between peoples legs, leaving no shin untouched. Parents were shoving handful's of food and money into their children's hands - praying that they wouldn't starve on the train journey there. Families were crying throughout the platform and wailing to their loved ones about how they won't be able to survive without their child.

And then, as if by magic, I saw him.

He was a little taller than the last time I saw him, maybe even a little more muscly. Though, I didn't know if that's just because my anxious eyes were deceiving me. His sister was helping sort out his hair as he readjusted his t-shirt and began moaning at her.

However, I did not want to be caught staring, and I did not want to face my problems right now. So, I did what (arguably) I did best, and fled the scene - leaving my luggage to hopefully be picked up before we left.

I wormed my way through the bustling crowd of people and towards the train before getting interrupted.

"I saw you staring" said a voice behind my shoulder.

"Shut up, I wasn't staring, merely appreciating the scenes of the platform" I defended as Pansy laughed from beside me.

"You're such a shit liar" she jabbed as we climbed into the train, just missing the ginger that was walking towards us.

"I'll tell you about it later," I smiled "it's too embarrassing to repeat"

"This sounds fantastic, embarrassing Flo is my favourite activity" she smirked, staring into the compartments as we passed them - hoping to find Tracey and Millicent.
