I had felt the sun gleam through the windows before I had opened my eyes. The room was warm and I felt myself grow uncomfortable next to the warm body next to me. I wasn't sure who it was exactly, but I had enough idea after the events last night.
After Tracey had gone on to snog Cedric's face off and send a couple of suggestive winks to those sitting around us. Millicent had then professed her attraction to Cho, Lee admitted Pansy and him had a summer fling last year and Harry even confessed that him and Ron kissed once for practice before the Halloween ball. It was eventful, to say the least. However, it most certainly did not end there.
"Hey, I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable back there" Ron chuckled awkwardly as he drowned his discomfort in whiskey.
"I think the most uncomfortable thing about that was your brothers gawping in the back as you snogged me" I smiled as his body relaxed slightly.
The dorm room was practically empty by this time. Millicent and Pansy fled with their lovers as soon as the game was up, and the twins were presumably receiving a heavy smacking from Hermione right at that point.
The only people that were sitting in Ron's dorm were us, Neville, Padma and Tracey practically hooking up with Cedric on what I assumed was Harry's bed.
"Poor Harry," I laughed, laying on my stomach atop Weasley's bed as he rested against his head board.
"I would get them off. But, after his secret spilling earlier I don't know if I'm feeling so nice"
"Oh my gosh! I nearly bloody forgot about that, I'm going to have to get it engraved in my brain so I can be sure to bring it up during big events,"
"Don't you dare"
"I can't stop it Weasley, it's engraving right now" I teased, holding my head.
"Stop!" he shouted, chuckling as he did.
"I don't know if I'm going to be able" I frowned before he sat up and grabbed my face between his palms - making sure that we were retaining eye contact.
As he stared at me with an expression I wasn't able to grasp, I felt myself trying to retain my smile. I don't exactly know why I was so comfortable around him tonight, it could've been the masses of alcohol flowing through my body or maybe even the kiss that we were forced to share earlier that night. Either way, I was appreciating his new found confidence.
"You have to promise me that you're not going to remember it, or I might just have to obliviate you" he spoke as I nodded my head between his grasp.
"Ptsh as if you would use magic on me,"
"Well if I obliviated you I may be able to get you to do all my chores again" he smiled, now releasing his hands and sitting back.
"If you think about it, that actually means you just want to spend more time with me" I grinned, enjoying the smirk plastered on his face.
"What if I said that wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen?"
"Then I would say get a better compliment Weasley"
"Are you ever going to stop calling me that, I have a first name you know" he asked, completely changing the subject.
"I happen to like you're second name more than your first"
"You like Weasley better than Ron? Something must be wrong with you" he chuckled, a slight tinge of red coating his cheeks at the sound of his name.
"No, I just like the fact that I'm the only one that calls you Weasley - makes me feel special" I smiled, now sitting up, ready to head back downstairs.
