Sleeping hadn't been easy the past two nights.

Not only was my mind plagued with the many scenarios I had concocted of my parents opening the letters, but I also felt extremely regretful. I had got angry at the one person who probably actually gave a shit to write me a letter and all I could do was get angry at him. Yes, my parents were going to be a huge problem but how was he supposed to know.

I was a bad person that was for sure.

Lessons had been hard for me on top of everything. Work seemed to be getting a lot harder and in a lot higher quantities. I had asked Millicent one hundred times to borrow her notes and 'copy' her work but she was just as stubborn as Ron told me Hermione was. Pansy had said that the only reason I was finding things hard was because half of my concentration was directed somewhere else and that to try and ease my mind I should go Birthday shopping with her - though that also seemed annoyingly relevant as Ron's birthday was slowly closing in.

However, I made it work and found myself now seated next to Tracey who didn't even care to try and make herself look as if she was listening. Divination was slowly becoming less magical and more 'if you don't find a fucking message in that ball you will fail' so to say the lesson was becoming more boring was an understatement. Tracey and I had both been saying we were seeing 'The Falcon' every other week and then declaring that it must have been one another - which made for both an extremely funny lesson but also a free pass from Trelawney wandering over.

Though, this lesson was different. Neither of us wanted to do the leaf reading and take the piss out of whatever abstract art appeared because both of us were just as sad as one another. Tracey had been moping about a lot after Cedric accidentally let it slip that his fling didn't mind if he broke up singing whilst shagging once in a while.

"Do you think I should just let him do it?" she whispered as I continued to doodle on my parchment and hum quietly.

"Tracey why are you asking me this question?"

"Because clearly I can't make do with only fifty answers from you, so once more. Do you think I should let him do it?"

"No, of course I don't think you should let him start singing halfway through boning his girlfriend. And, I also don't think you should be so worried about it either - I mean you contemplated anal for that boy he should forever be grateful" I snorted, observing the horrendous depiction of Snape drawn across the corner of my paper.

"It was only a contemplation-"

"Only? He's lucky he got that, Ron wouldn't even be able to bring it up to me before the idea was abolished"

"Oh fuck,"

I froze, the sighed then groaned before throwing my head back into my 'work' that seemed a lot less depressing then thinking about a ginger.

As I said earlier - impossible.

That boy was impossible to be around but even more impossible to not think about and I fucking hated every second of it.

"You know what, I know exactly what will cheer you up!"

"Oh, please do spill before I beg those teacups to give me the grim," I sighed, turning to look at the already excited girl seated next to me.

"A night of talking, drinking and pampering with your absolute favourite people,"

I smiled.

That actually did sound nice, especially after everything that's happened.

"Yeah, okay that doesn't actually sound as shit as I initially thought,"

"See I told you that you'd like it" she nudged me as I brushed her off.
