"Damn. I didn't know that." Saundro said, holding his head.

I was now seated on the floor in between the row that was directly in front of him.

"I've been holding this in for so long. No one knows anything about it. Not even my friends. I'm just so tired of seeming strong and composed.  I'm just so tired of being everyone's foundation and stronghold."

"And you shouldn't be. You should take time out to enjoy yourself or try to work on grieving. You deserve to grieve. You don't have to be strong all the time."

"I know. But it's so easy to use other peoples problems, to act as a psychiatrist for everyone else, just to forget about your own problems and demons. Like a medication. But when you're alone, and you don't have that medication anymore, that's when everything you've been running from and pushing down comes back to torment you."

"I know those feelings. But you don't have to do it alone anymore. I'm here. Just call me anytime you want. Now, come here." He said extending his arms.

I then crawled down the row and went into his arms.

"Thank you." I said as we stayed that way for about half an hour.

"Well that was a long bathroom break." Miss. Chatty chatty said, giving us a suspicious look , when we returned.

"Why you looking at me like that. I was in the cafeteria. She was in the bathroom." Saundro lied.

"Uhhuh."

"Mine your own damn business." I said under my breath glaring at Miss. Chatty chatty.

"What did you say Mia?"

"I said I'm surprise you're not talking on your phone Miss. Cha..."

"I just took a DNA test turns out I'm a hundred percent bad--" her phone rang.

"Just take your seats." She said, brushing us off. She answered her phone and went outside.

We then took our seats at the back of the class.

"So bloody insignificant." I muttered.

Saundro heard though and laughed.

"I've always wondered why she's always on her phone." He said.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever seen her off of her phone for like half an hour.

"Oh, umm, could you not tell anyone what I told you. You know, about my pass." I said, remembering what had happened earlier.

"Yeah. No problem. I'll take it to my grave." He said smilingly.

"Could I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"Why are you in detention? I mean, I've always been curious but always forget to ask."

"Oh. Umm, I kinda told the principal to piss off and that he's better off hooking up with the librarian than running this school."

My mouth fell open.

"YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT TOO!" I shrieked in surprised.

"Yeah. Saw them once in his car in the parking lot. It was like 6 pm on a Saturday. There was a soccer match there earlier on but it was over for hours. Basically no one was there. But I was there. I had detention before to clean the field and where the spectators were seated. It took longer than usual. So I was leaving the compound when I saw his car in the parking lot and it was shaking vigorously. I went up to it and saw them inside. I am forever scared by that image. It even haunts me in my dreams." He finished of shivering with a disgusted expression.
