Saundro's POV

As I watch my attacker/contractor disappeared down the alleyway, I tried to crawl away from the spot where he had severely damage my body.

Finally, I was out of the darkness and in the light. Literally.
I crawled to the street light that was beside the crosswalk. I stayed there for a while as the pain still consumed my body every time I moved. Suddenly, a pink Honda Fit with tinted windows drove pass me then screeched to a stop and reversed madly towards me.

'Oh God, please save me from this crazy person reversing towards me.' I silently prayed.

With every might left in my body, I started crawling away.

"Yow! What happened to you!?" A female voice came out of the pink car when it came to a stop beside the sidewalk.

I turned around and saw a girl with curly brown hair with red highlight, sticking her head out the car window. It was one of Mia's friend. I had met her before.

"Some punks robbed me." I lied smoothly.
Well it wasn't a total lie. They are punks and they did rob me of my sister and pride and maybe soon enough, of my lovely Mia.

"Oh my gosh." She squealed.

She place the car in park and rushed out of it, helped me to my feet and then into the front passenger seat. She rushed into the driver's seat after.

"Where's your phone?"

"I stashed it. Thank God they didn't find it."

"Oh. You're so lucky; then… ummm.…… so why didn't you call someone?"

"Was afraid they'd come back."

"That doesn't make any sense. Why not call someone to get you out of there before they come back?"

"Umm… well, I was afraid they had a gun. I would rather they kill me than my friends or family members."

"Oh." She said with a confused look.

"I'm weird like that." I tried to convince her.

"Yeah you are." She mumbled.

I sighed.

"So where do you want me to bring you?"

"My house. I'll direct you."

"Why not the hospital? Its right across from here." She said, looking out the window and towards the hospital.

"I umm don't want my mom to worry."

"Your mom? Does she work there?"

"No, actually she's sick. Could you just please bring me home?" I said with desperation in my eyes.

"OK." She said, dropping the subject.

I told her my address, but she wasn't sure exactly where it was so I told her when to turn and which direction to go. Finally I was in front of my house.
