The flight to Jamaica was long, as usual, but a bit entertaining. Justin and Leonardo decided to take the same flight as us and surprise, surprise, Leonardo was sitting beside me.
He was sitting on my right in the window seat. However, thankfully, Kath was with me. She was sitting on my left.
Although I'm with Saundro, Leonardo still made me nervous a bit. But I'm successfully hiding it. Although I'm pretty sure Kath can sense it.
Right now, I'm literally between Leonardo and Kath arguing about which transportation is better, airplane or ships.
"Airplanes are better Kath. They get you to places fast."
"And also have a higher chance of crashing than a ship!" She countered.
"You're hopeless."
"You know I'm right."
I looked pass kath and tried to see what Justin was up to. He was seated in between dad and Jessy. They were seated in the next window seat across from us. Dad was sitting in the window seat and Jessy was in the seat right beside the aisle.
I noticed that he was holding his head.
I snickered.
"THERE'S A HIGHER CHANCE YOU'LL SURVIVE A SHIPWRECK THAN A PLANE CRASH!" Kath shouted.
All heads in the vicinity turned towards us and the flight attendant, who was serving a lady, paused in her tracks.
I tried my best to get smaller in my seat.
"THERE'S A SLIM CHANCE YOU'LL BE IN ONE!" Leonardo countered.
"I'm sorry, but could you two please speak softly, you're scaring the other passengers." A flight attendant walked up to our seats and asked my friends.
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT! HECK, TODAY COULD BE 'THE' DAY!"
They completely ignored her.
"KATH JUST STOP! YOU'RE SCARING THE PEOPLE!"
Oh, so he did hear the flight attendant."BUT THINK ABOUT IT NARDO! A SHIP HAS LIFE BOATS AND IT WON'T SINK THAT FAST AND THE FIRST PRIORITY ON A SHIP IS TO GET THE PASSENGERS OFF FIRST! ON A PLANE, WE DON'T HAVE THAT! JUST OXYGEN MASKS OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED! HECK, YOU'RE SITTING IN THE WORST SEAT! YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE US FALLING TO OUR DEATHS! AND WHEN THE PLANE FALLS, BLOOSH!" She made an explosion sound and used her hands to show it. "DEAD!"
The flight attendant was trying to shut her up while her speech, but Kath just continued, ignoring her.
"Mommy, is the plane going to crash?" A child in the seat in front of me asked her mother. I could hear the fear in her voice. Everyone's attention turned to her.
"No honey. It's going to be okay. We're going to reach Jamaica safe and sound."
"You promise?"
"Yes honey. I promise."
"OH THE LIES OUR PARENTS TELL US! OHH THE LIES!" Kath shouted, holding her heart dramatically.
The flight attendant looked at me pleadingly, noticing that I'm the only sain one in this row, or that I'm trying my best to just disappear.
"Mommy what does she mean?"
"Umm, nothing honey. Nothing at all."
"Was that a lie mommy?" The girl sounded so broken.
"Let's go." I said getting up and dragging Kath with me.
The flight attendant got out of our way to let us pass and looked at me with gratitude in her eyes.
