Chapter 3

It was Wednesday and only two days remained for school to close. From yesterday, up to now, my mind have been stock on one thought.

Leonardo was coming to Jamaica.

It erupted unwanted feelings and desires that I dreaded to have and he's the only boy that ever made me feel this way, although we're not together.

These feeling developed when he just came to my school. Amanda was talking about him. About his looks, his built and how smart he was. This was typical Amanda. She talked about a guy then losses interest in him. I didn't want to meet him but Jody insisted so we all met him. He was cool and we got close. About a month or so later I asked him to be my bbf. Then two weeks later these infernal feelings appeared.

They came on and off like a light switch that I can't control.

They came when I'm weak and vulnerable and leave me confused and hoping that they won't come back.

It was annoying.

Once, they left when he got together with Jody but when they broke up, they came back with a vengeance. It repeated when they got together again.

It was that bad that one time I literally stop talking to him. But kath said it would have been suspicious to the others and it would have hurt his feelings. So I started talking to him again but on a minimum level.

Ahhhh! These feelings are bloody complicated!!
(And no I'm not British. I just love saying bloody.)

"Miss. Lorenzo. Miss. Lorenzo. Miss. Lorenzo. MIA!!!" Someone called.

"Hmmm, um, yes, whose there?"

"The cooky monster."

"Really, where? I'm awfully hungry right now." I said looking around.

"Mia Lorenzo!"

I turned around and looked at the person who was continuously calling my name like it's my number.

"Oh, Mr. Banana, I mean Bocanan." I realized that it was my music teacher calling me.

And the fact that I'm in class and was day dreaming.

"Hmph...." He said or sighed or what's it not.

"...I asked you a question."

It seems like he was waiting for me to answer, but when he saw my dumbfound face, he asked the question again.

"I asked what's the name of the fifth line in the treble clef?"

"Oh. That's easy. E." I said without thinking and hesitation.

Mr. Banana's eyes shot open like his wife just told him that she's leaving him and taking the house and the car.
I was confused at first but then realized what I said.

"Oh no I meant F."

"This clearly shows that you're not studying. You should have answered it right without having to think about it."

"Of course I study sir."

"Your not the brightest child in this class so please study and try to pass your exams with good grades."

WHAT DID HE JUST SAY!!

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY SIR!"

"You heard what I just said and I don't have time to repeat myself."

This dude must be kidding. He can't be serious.

"With all due respect sir..." I said, making the disgust evident when I said sir.
