It was the Monday and today I would have been going off on summer holiday. But no, I'm stuck here, in this hell hole of a school. With bloody, ifrit teachers.

I still haven't decided whether to post the picture or not. Hmmmm, I'll just ask my friends what I should do.

Right now I'm in a class room, in school, with a boring teacher whose constantly talk on her phone. And the worst thing is, there's only two of us in here. Me and a dude name Kelvin, I think that's his name. I don't know why he's in detention, and truth be told I don't really want to know.

I place my head on the desk and took a deep breath.

Kelvin murmured something inaudible so I couldn't hear what he said. Then I heard him clear his throat. I looked up and turned my head.

He was stearing at me.

"Can I help you." I said with the annoyance dripping from my voice.

"Actually, I was gonna ask if your alright. But you seem okay to me so..." he said, murmuring the last part.

"Yeah I'm okay. Thanks for the concern." I said a little gentler than before. I looked at the clock and it chimed 9:30 am. Great, only three and a half more hours. I place my head back on the desk.

"Miss. Mia, please wake up. Mia. MIA!"

"I'm sorry I bombed the white house, but I just hate the president and his illogical ways of presidency and running the white house."
I said, jumping up out of my seat and onto my knees.

"What? Mia get up."

It was then that I realized that I had been sleeping and Miss. Chatty chatty had taken time out of her conversation to wake me up.

"Oh, I've been sleeping."

"Yes."

I looked up at the clock and it said 10:30. I've been sleeping for one hour. I said a low curse under my breath and sat back down. I looked around at Kelvin only to see that he was using his hand to cover his mouth, as he was laughing at me. I glared in response and that seemed to shut him up.

"I just took a DNA test turns out I'm a hundred percent bad--"
Miss. What's her name phone rang.

"Hello?" She answered, walking out of the classroom.

"Do you want my help in bombing the white house? I'll be much obliged to help you."

"Piss off."

"So hostile."

I didn't answered. I just glared at him for five seconds then place my head on the desk again.

"Careful, you'll fall asleep again but this time you'll bomb the whole school with us in it."

I only showed him my middle finger.

About one hour and fifteen minutes later, (i know the time because I'm constantly checking it), I was drifting off again to la-la land when I heard singing. I shot my eyes open to see Kelvin singing softly with his eyes closed.

He was singing Trauma by NF. Its one of my favourite.

"Grab my hand, I'm drowning.
I feel my heart pounding.
Why haven't you found me... Yet?" He sang the chorus.

"I hold you so proudly.
Traumas, they surround me.
I wish you'd just love me... back." I sang.

Our voice mingled with each other in one harmony.

His eyes shot open when he realize that I was singing with him. Our eyes locked with each other. My green eyes and his grey eyes.

"You know NF." We said simultaneously.

There was a comfortable silence and then we started laughing.

"He's my favourite artist. I love his songs and I can relate to them also." I said.

"Same."

"I'm Mia."

"I know. We're in the same music and math class. Oh, physical education too."

"Really? I haven't notice you in any of those classes."

"I'm always at the back. The dude who is always by himself. First to enter, last to leave."

"Oh." Was all I could think of.

He started smiling( not showing his teeth though) and tilted his head to the side.

I felt untidy, improper under his gaze. Slowly my hand went up to my hair, straightening it out.
What was happening to me? I have never cared how I looked in the sight of a boy before. It was creepy.

"You look okay." He said. Smiling wider.

"Uhum." I cleared my throat. "Thanks."

"I'm Saundro." He said, finally showing his teeth.

Oh, that's his name. Wait, then whose kelvin? Oh who cares anyway.
Hmmm Saundro. That name sounds similar to Saundra's name.

"That's a cool name."

"Thanks. Yours too."

The room then fell into silence but it wasn't a comfortable silence anymore. It was a awkward silence now.

I took this time to study his features. He had dark brown hair, tan skin and grey eyes. His face almost looked like Saundra's.

It was weird. I'll have to talk to her about this later but right now, I don't think I'll ask him anything. Especially with that look in his eyes.

Ring, ring, ring.

The school bell rang showing that it was 12 o'clock. I took up my bag and walked out. I could feel him stearing at me. I walked towards the exit when I heard his foot steps behind me. They were rushed, like he wanted to catch up with me but out of the blue, Justin jumped in front of me.

"Boo." He said.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" I screamed. My right hand instantly came up and connected with his face. Hard.

"Ouch. What the sh*t is wrong with you." He said, rubbing his cheek.

"Sorry. You scared me. It was reflex."

"Yeah what ever. Let's go. Its summer and I don't want to stay here any longer."

"You said it fam. Let's go."

I looked around only to see two grey eyes watching me intently.

He waved at me but I only turned around and hurried away as Justin was pulling me with all his might. I cursed at him under my breath as I let him draw me away.

That's one weird boy. I thought to myself as I remembered those grey eyes stearing at me. Burning through my skin and going straight for my soul.
