Mina has experienced a few first kisses—some vague and forgettable, and others that linger in her mind, impossible to erase.
The topic comes up unexpectedly one night as she sits with her friends around a campfire. The reunion was Jeongyeon's idea, pitched during a late-night group chat as a way to reconnect after months of busy schedules and missed calls. Now, they're here, gathered around the cool breeze carrying the scent of pine and smoke. The fire crackles gently between them, casting flickering shadows over familiar faces.
"Alright, tell me something." Jeongyeon says, leaning forward with a mischievous grin.
Mina looks up from the stick she's been using to poke at the fire. "What?"
"Your first kiss." Jeongyeon replies, her grin widening. "What was it like? Who was it with?"
The others erupt in laughter and supportive cheers, already urging her to spill the story. Mina freezes for a second, her mind scrambling. She should've expected this, considering the way their conversations have been flowing all night—nostalgia-fueled and shamelessly nosy.
Mina froze for a moment. A thousand fragmented memories raced through her mind. The question wasn't surprising, but for her, it was far from simple.
"My first kiss?" Mina repeats slowly, trying to buy time. "I... I'm not sure how to explain that."
Jeongyeon raised a brow. "Why not? Was it that bad?"
Mina lets out a soft chuckle, shaking her head. "No, it wasn't bad. Just... complicated."
"Complicated how?" Jeongyeon presses, her curiosity piqued.
Mina glances at the fire, her fingers tightening around the stick in her hand. "It's hard to say which one counts as the first."
Jeongyeon tilted her head. "Wait, are you telling us you have multiple first kisses? How does that even work?"
Mina sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "It's a long story."
Jeongyeon grinned, settling back in her chair. "Lucky for you, I've got time."
Mina sighs, a resigned smile tugging at her lips. "It's not as wild as you think." She shifts in her seat, glancing at their expectant faces. "Fine. But you have to promise not to interrupt."
Jeongyeon nodded, watching as Mina let out a slow breath. Her expression shifted slightly, hints of old, buried memories beginning to surface, ones she hadn't touched in what felt like ages.

Mina's first kiss, the one she actually counts, was with Hirai Momo. Though, she barely thinks about it now. It was the summer before freshman year, at a party she hadn't even wanted to go to. It was one of those laid-back, somewhat chaotic parties thrown by someone on the dance team. As a new member, Mina felt obligated to show up, even though she spent most of the night quietly sipping on a soda in the corner.
"Come on, Mina." someone had called out, dragging her into the circle forming in the living room. "We're playing spin the bottle!"
Before Mina could protest, she was seated on the carpet, shoulder-to-shoulder with her future teammates. The bottle spun, landing on her, and she barely had time to process what was happening before Momo leaned in with a grin.
