Mina searched desperately everywhere she could think of—her home, workplace, even the park. But Sana was nowhere to be found. As the day wore on, Mina's worry deepened. She feared time was running out and that she might have to take drastic steps to protect Sana. Just as she was losing hope, Mina spotted Sana entering the police station.

"Sana! Wait!" Mina yelled, sprinting towards her.

Sana turned, her expression guarded. "Please allow me to explain. It's not what you think." Mina pleaded, breathless.

"So you're not the one behind those brutal killings?" Sana's voice was steady, but there was disbelief in her eyes.

"No, it's a curse. A demon inside me." Mina blurted out, desperate to make Sana understand.

"You know how ridiculous that sounds, don't you? You really expect me to believe that? How gullible do you think I am?" Sana said skeptically, crossing her arms.

"It's true! Just give me a chance to explain." Mina begged, her voice trembling. "You saw my reflection. Something weird is definitely going on." she insisted.

"And how do I know that wasn't just a trick of the light or some weird voice change?" Sana countered skeptically.

"It's not, I promise. I have evidence. Just give me an hour to explain. If you still don't believe me, go to the police. I'm done arguing." Mina pleaded with a heavy sigh.

Sana couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Mina's story than met the eye. Despite her belief in the supernatural, people were dying, and Mina had always been nothing but kind to her.

Sana let out a deep sigh, weighing her options. She wasn't entirely convinced by Mina's explanation, but there was a sincerity in her plea that gave her pause. "Alright. You've got an hour. Make it convincing."

Mina nodded, feeling relieved. "Let me start from the beginning."

She recounted everything that had happened since she accidentally broke an old mirror in the attic. She described her initial confusion, thinking they were just nightmares, until she woke up one morning on her bedroom floor covered in blood and utterly disoriented. She tried her best to convey how she felt forced to live this other life she never chose. Sana listened, her expression shifting from doubt to curiosity.

"That's quite a story. But how do you expect to prove any of it?" Sana asked, still skeptical.

"Come with me to the library. My grandfather collected occult books. I think he knew something about that mirror." Mina suggested, hoping Sana would trust her.

"I must be losing my mind, or your smile has completely won me over. Whatever it is, against all odds, I'm in." Sana said with a small smile.

"Thank you. I'll do my best to show you that I'm trustworthy." Mina replied warmly, returning the smile.

Mina and Sana sat huddled together at the library, surrounded by stacks of ancient books and manuscripts. The air was heavy with the musty scent of old paper as they pored over texts, searching desperately for clues to break the curse that haunted Mina.

"I still can't wrap my head around all this." Sana confessed, flipping through a fragile parchment.

Mina looked at her softly, her eyes pleading for understanding. "I know it's a lot to take in. But I swear, I never wanted any of this."
