Sana x Mina

Myoui Mina found herself running late for class for the first time in her life. It wasn't intentional; she just lost track of time.

As she hurried down the deserted hallway, a sudden hand grabbed her from behind, pulling her into what seemed like a closet. Startled, she found herself pressed against the wall as the door closed behind them, enveloping them in darkness.

"What the hell?" Mina exclaimed, her heart pounding in her chest as she recognized the figure before her.

"Sana-chan?"

Sana flicked on the lights and stepped closer to Mina, their faces were inches apart.

"Relax." she whispered softly, gently nudging Mina's jawline to close the gap between them.

Their lips moved in sync, and Mina couldn't stop herself from moaning at the sensation of Sana's lips on hers. Then it hits her. What in the world are they doing?

Their lips met, moving in sync, and Mina couldn't help but respond to the sensation of Sana's kiss. Yet, in the midst of the moment, confusion washed over her. What were they doing? 

Mina pushed Sana away slightly, causing a pout to form on the Minatozaki girl's lips. As much as Mina enjoyed the kiss, she felt confused. Sure, they had shared kisses before, but it wasn't something they usually do.

"What was that, Sana?" Mina questioned, hoping for an explanation.

"Dammit, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." Sana berated herself internally, a mix of sadness and embarrassment crossing her features.

Seeing her best friend upset troubled Mina. But why had Sana kissed her? After a moment of silence, Mina finally receives the answer she was looking for.

"Mi-tan, remember when you kissed me after dance rehearsals in the practice room?" Sana asked.

Mina nodded. How could she forget? It was their first kiss, one that had left her with a lingering crush on Sana, though she had pushed those feelings aside, believing they were just nothing.

"Well, I was thinking... I miss having someone to be close to, to touch, to kiss. I'm not sure if we could be friends with benefits? You're my closest friend, and nothing could ever come between us, which is why I'm asking." Sana explained.

Mina was stunned by the proposal. Friends with benefits? She was about to respond when Sana interrupted herself.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! This was a stupid idea. I don't know what came over me, and I can't believe I just asked you that. You don't have to, I was just—"

"Sana!" Mina reached out, holding her hands to calm her down.

She studied Sana's expression, making sure that she wasn't joking. Eventually, Mina spoke up after careful consideration.

"Let's do it."

Sana's face lit up as she giggled at her statement. Mina mentally slaps herself for her choice of words and playfully slaps Sana's arm.

"Shut up. You know what I meant." Mina said, shaking her head.

"Oh, of course I know what you meant." Sana winked, and they shared a laugh before the school bell rang.
