Dahyun x Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung stormed inside her room and slammed the door shut. She lays down and puts on her headphones, turning up the volume to 100 as her favorite song begins to play. It was the only thing that brought her peace these days.

She was being sent away. The Beast of JYP High, Son Chaeyoung, was being sent away to a boarding school. Who would have thought? Her? Being sent away to some good-for-nothing place? Of course, it wasn't as bad as Chaeyoung made it out to be. That would be obvious to anybody. It was just that she hated the idea of being surrounded by rich preppy brats.

Her friends. Chaeyoung would most likely miss her friends. She hasn't told them that she is leaving. She hated goodbyes.

The short girl groaned and shoved her pillow over her face, causing her headphones to fall over slightly. She lifted her head and stared hard at the cushion, imagining a face. The face of a man she despised, despised, and, most importantly, didn't come to dinner tonight.

Chaeyoung's nostrils flared as she began to aggressively punch the pillow, trying to mold it into anything other than her stupid, idiotic, ignorant father. She kept punching, punching until her heart rate increased, punching until her knuckles were irritated, punching until her hand sweated, punching until her vision blurred and small droplets landed onto her target.

Tears. Pathetic. She was crying. Crying for what? Going to boarding school? Her father not coming? She didn't have the energy to think about it. She sniffled and sobbed, brushing her tears away. Her body ached and felt heavy, yet it was also light.

Chaeyoung hugged her blanket, as she usually did when she was upset, and brought it up to her face, holding it to her mouth while she cried like a child who had lost its favorite toy. She felt pathetic. And with that, she fell asleep, those thoughts troubling her head, possibly giving her nightmares.

"Boarding school?" Dahyun asked her parents as they sat at their dinner table.

"You'll like the academy, and it'll help fix your...behavior." Her mother said as she shoved a piece of lettuce into her mouth.

"Behavior?"

"Yes, behavior."

"So you're sending me to a disciplinary school?" Dahyun frowned as she placed down her silverware.

"You can see it however you want. Seoul Academy is an excellent school. You will be fixed and—

"Fixed? I'm not a car you can take to the mechanic and have fixed, Dad. I'm a person." Dahyun exclaimed, gazing at her parents with dread.

"First of all, Dahyun, don't raise your voice at your father. Second, we know you're human. We meant that you'll become a better person, and this is for your sake. Don't worry." Her mother stated sternly, glaring at her daughter.

"A lot of young adults have graduated from the academy with amazing results, so I'm sure it's a great place for you. It worked for others, and it will work for you." Her parents began to go on and on about her future once again.

This happened almost every time they had a family dinner. Dahyun knew what would happen if she tried to speak up, so she kept her mouth shut and stabbed a piece of her food with her fork. Even if they mean well, her parents can be a nightmare at times.

"You have no idea what you're doing, I swear." She said under her breath, not meaning for anybody at the table to hear.

"You think I'd waste all these years of my life trying to raise you if I didn't know what I was doing?" Her father slammed his fist on the table.
