Mina x Nayeon

Nayeon and Mina had been through a rollercoaster of a relationship for three years before calling it quits for reasons unknown. As they stepped into their senior year, Nayeon hadn't laid eyes on Mina in over a month. 

Despite her efforts to distract herself, Nayeon couldn't shake the thoughts of Mina. Like her friend Sana, Nayeon had a reputation as a popular womanizer, a persona she crafted partly to get over Mina. She scanned the crowded corridors of the school, unable to resist the urge to search for her ex, until she collided with Jeongyeon.

"Oww!" Nayeon winced, turning to face her friend.

"Oh, sorry!" Jeongyeon apologized profusely.

"First day of senior year, and you're already a pain." Nayeon teased as she adjusted her shoulder bag.

"So, have you heard from Mina yet?" Jeongyeon asked, concern written in her voice.

"No. And I don't care." Nayeon replied firmly, trying to convince herself as much as Jeongyeon.

Jeongyeon raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. Just as Nayeon started to feel a bit of relief, she spotted a familiar figure entering the hallway – Mina, with her effortless grace and confidence.

It had to be her, Myoui Mina, looking even more stunning than before. Nayeon felt her heart race as their eyes met. But to her frustration, Mina breezed past her as if she didn't exist, focusing her attention on Jeongyeon.

"Hi, Jeongyeon Unnie." Mina greeted cheerfully.

"How was your summer, Mina?" Jeongyeon asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"It was boring until I met someone. We hit it off right away." Mina said with a grin, and Nayeon could practically feel the irritation radiating off her.

As Mina spoke, Nayeon couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy, sensing that Mina was intentionally trying to get under her skin. Mina didn't even acknowledge Nayeon's presence until forced to do so by the conversation. 

When Mina finally turned to face Nayeon, her expression shifted to something more serious. Nayeon clenched her jaw, trying to intimidate her, but Mina seemed unfazed, even finding amusement in the situation.

"I heard you've been hooking up with everyone." Mina said, laughter dancing in her eyes.

Nayeon's anger bubbled to the surface. "You're so pathetic." Mina said with a pitying glance before turning away.

As Mina bid farewell to Jeongyeon and turned back to Nayeon, the latter's frustration reached its peak. Jeongyeon hurried after her, trying to calm her down before she caused a scene. Nayeon's temper flared as she stomped her feet in frustration. 

"THAT BITCH!" she exclaimed, barely restraining herself from shouting.

A teacher who bore a striking resemblance to a famous celebrity, approached her. "Care to explain, Miss Im?"

Nayeon hesitated, the school bell ringing just in time to spare her from having to respond. She hurried off to class, leaving the confrontation behind.

"Go to class, Miss Im." the teacher instructed, and Nayeon complied, grateful for the bell.

The next day, rumors about a mysterious admirer pursuing Mina began to spread across the school campus. And unsurprisingly, Nayeon was not pleased. She had a knack for spreading rumors herself, but this time, things felt different.
