CARSON BEGAN TO STIR AWAKE after feeling his nose twitch and something gently brushing against it. He opened his eyes, squinting slightly because of the morning light and looked down to see Wanda, well more like Wanda's hair in his face. Their positions must've switched throughout the night as they were now both on their sides, Wanda's back pressed against his chest and Carson's arm wrapped around her stomach spooning her.

He smiled slightly and gently moved her hair back over her shoulder, trying not to wake her up seen as she looked so peaceful.

His attention was pulled away from Wanda and over to the sound of footsteps coming towards his room. He huffed and ran his free hand through his hair, waiting for whoever it was to walk in.

His door quickly opened, revealing Steve who grew a rather surprised look on his face once he saw Wanda fast asleep.

"Ever heard of knocking old man?" Carson whisper shouted.

"Sorry, I didn't know you had... company." Steve raised his eyebrows and leant in Carson's doorway. "Is this why you was in your room all day yesterday?" He teased.

"What- no it's not like that." Carson moved his hand from around Wanda.

"Hey, it's non of my business." Steve grinned.

"You know what-" Carson moved to sit up but as soon as his body moved away from Wanda she subconsciously shuffled back into him, making him huff in defeat and not move from his position.  "I swear, this better be important."

Steve took a deep breath before speaking. "It is. Fury sent us a location around thirty minutes ago, everyone needs to suit up we're leaving within the hour. I thought you'd like to know."

Carson raised his brows in surprise. "You're not trying to talk me out of it? Is this some kind of reverse psychology trick-"

"Personally, I'd rather you stay here where it's safe. But I understand why you want to come with us, this is your fight too and it's not my place to stop you Carson." Steve says, giving the boy a small smile.

"You're right it's not." Carson squinted as he searched Steve's eyes for any dishonesty, after deeming that he was telling the truth Carson relaxed slightly letting out a breath. "Well, thank you Steve. Really."

"Don't worry about it." Steve paused and looked down at Wanda who was still out cold. "We're leaving soon, make sure you're ready."

Carson nodded at Steve as he slipped out of his room and closed the door behind him.

Once Steve was gone, he looked down at Wanda and gently shook her awake. "Psst, Wanda." He waited a few moments for a response. Once he didn't get one he decided to try again. "Wands you gotta wake up."

As Wanda started to wake up, Carson had to clear his throat in order to hold back his laugh at the sight of Wanda's messy bed hair all over the place, her scrunching up her face as she came around. Someone clearly wasn't a morning person.

"No." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes and stretching her legs out.

"I'm afraid you're gonna have to." Carson chuckled. "My bed, my rules."

Wanda huffed and turned over so she was now facing Carson. She closed her eyes again and scooted closer, nuzzling her face into his chest.
