YELENA GRABBED the vials and shoved them into her bag before making her way over to the other two. Narrowing her eyes slightly at Carson who turned his attention back to the ceiling.

He walked through into the main room as he followed the footsteps. Natasha and Yelena moved to follow him but he wafted his hand, telling them to stay back. The footsteps came to a stop and Carson furrowed his brows. He opened his mouth to say something but stopped when the sound of ticking filled his ears, his eyes widened when he realised what was happening.

Carson quickly turned around and rushed back into the kitchen, pulling Yelena back by the arm as he passed her considering she had taken it upon herself to not listen to him and go into the main room anyway.

"Hey—" Yelena was cut off by hole being blown out in the ceiling followed by a small group of widows being lowered down into the room.

Before the widows could spot them, he pushed Yelena to the left of the doorway for cover while he took cover on the right, shooting her a disapproving look.

He took a moment to look around the kitchen, noticing that Natasha was nowhere to be seen. He didn't like that one bit, not knowing where she was, if she was safe or not.

Carson slowly leant up from the wall and started to peek his head around the corner, only to quickly move back when the laser sight from one of the widows guns was now aimed through the kitchen.

"Did you see where Nat went?" He whispered over to her and Yelena shook her head.

Yelena put the backpack over her shoulder and gestured towards the doorway to her right. He nodded and the pair of them took a deep breath before making a run for it, just barely dodging the bullets that was being shot their way from the widows.

The pair both made a run for it down the hall, neither of them daring to slow down despite their lack of vision due to the dust that was in the air from all the rubble. As they got further down the hallway, Carson and Yelena were pulled by the collar of their shirts and tugged into a room, both of them letting out a grunt as their backs harshly hit the wall. Carson removed the hand that was holding tightly onto his shirt off him and turned around, pushing the person back into the wall.

"Easy tiger." Natasha raised her hands in surrender. "It's me." She moved her hands up to his shoulders and gave him a small smile.

"Shit." Carson instantly let go of her and stepped back, letting out a relieved sigh. "Sorry..."

Yelena flipped a switch that was in the room which triggered the light bulbs throughout the apartment to explode, distracting the small group of widows that were searching the halls for them.

Now that they had them distracted, they all hurried out of the apartment, Carson ushering the two sisters in front of him so they could get out first. The trio managed to make their way in the stairwell and clocked two widows making their way up the stairs.

Carson started to form his energy around his hand in order to pull their guns out of their grip but before he got the chance to actually do anything, Yelena appeared next to him, pulling the pin out of a grenade and dropping it down to the widows.

He looked over at her, raising a brow.

"What?" She replied nonchalantly, as if she didn't just blow up two people, along with a hole in some stairs.

Carson chuckled lightly. "Nothing."

They both ducked as more bullets starting piercing through the window, Yelena kept her head down as she ran up the stairs, gesturing for Natasha and Carson to follow.
