MELINA SIGHED as she watched Carson aim his hands towards the closed off doorway for the fifth time, trying to get his powers to work. His jaw clenched in frustration as he once again got no result, his hands remaining in the same state with no energy coming out of them.

"Are you done?" She asked while tapping her foot.

He huffed and shook out his hands. "What the hell is in those darts? Fucking hell."

"Well it's mainly a mixture of—"

"It was rhetorical Melina."

Carson turned around and leant his back against the wall, looking around the room for something that would either get them out or at least help them.

"We still locked out?" He gestured over to the two panels that they were previously working on.

The brunette nodded. "Both have been shut down. We won't be able to access them any more."

"Melina, I found the location of the vials." Yelena spoke up through the comms.

Carson's gaze locked onto a vent that was on the wall. He leant up from his spot and made him way over, taking his knife out from his holster and using it to start prying off the cover.

"We've had a slight set back." Melina informed the girl and joined Carson in getting the vent cover off. "You'll need to get to the widows on your own."

After a few more seconds, the cover was ripped from it's place on the wall and thrown to the ground. Carson leant down and looked inside to see if they would actually be able to get in. And from the looks of it, it seemed possible. But it wouldn't exactly be comfortable to do.

"Where to?" He asked.

"We need to get to the engine room." Melina replied. "From here it shouldn't be far."

Carson took a breath before climbing in, after everything that's happened to him over the years, it was safe to say that enclosed spaces were not exactly his favourite thing in the world. But nonetheless he sucked it up and started crawling through anyway, Melina following behind him.

The pair spent the next few minutes manoeuvring their way through the vents, Melina speaking up occasionally to direct him on where to turn. He let out a small huff as the heat in the small space started to rise. They must've been getting close.

"What was that about it not being far again?" Carson quipped as he pulled himself around the corner.

"Stop complaining, we're almost there." Melina told him. "There should be a vent straight ahead. Go through that."

Carson continued pulling his body along the floor of the vent, coming to a stop once he reached the small hatch in front of him. He paused for a moment before opening it so he could look through the small slits in the hatch to see where they were, mentally taking note of the few guards that he could see patrolling the area.

"You ready?" He whispered.

"Ready."

Carson brought his hand forward and slammed his fist harshly against the vent cover, clenching his jaw as a sharper strip of metal made contact with his knuckles and cut them a little. With a few more hits, the cover became loose enough for him to give it one final push and knock it off.
