From the Shadows || Katsuki Bakugou x OC

Chapter Forty

I slowly started to crawl to the heroes, trying to keep an eye on the villain. If I moved to quickly I might grab his attention, and if I flee to nearby citizens he may go after me. I turned to see how far a was from the heroes. Not too far, I'm almost there.

Best Jeanist started to sit up, shaking as he did, half way up a hole appeared in his stomach and blood gushed out. He fell back down and his arms became limp. My eyes went wide, my hand flew up to my mouth and I almost threw up again. I dug my fingers into the dirt, shaking and crying.

"Oh my God." I whispered to myself. "I- I'm going to die here." I could use my quirk to escape, but what about the other heroes? I might be able to do something to help. And didn't that villain take Ragdoll's quirk? Even if I did run he could track me.

I stared in horror at the man, wondering if there was anything I could do right now.  My brain is going a million miles a minute but I can't think of a plan. Black sludge appeared in front of him, slowly melting away to reveal someone.

Coughing followed the sludge, "Damnit. The hell?" Katsuki... No it can't be. He was being held at the bar. And Touya sent the police there. Nearly half of the Nomu's were destroyed.

More Black sludge appeared, revealing the rest of the villains. There are two people I don't recognize but surely they're also with the league.

Shigaraki was on the ground bowing his head down to the man, "Master."

The man's voice became slightly irritated. "So. You've failed me once more, Tomura." He stepped towards him, "But do not be discouraged, you'll try again." He turned his head, as if to look at me, "You won't run away like Morphi." This bastard, is he trying to get me to attack? I don't stand a chance but...

Katsuki followed his line of sight and finally spotted me, "Keiko!" He started to run out but tendrils shot from the man's hand, blocking him.

"Try that again and I can't promise I'll hestitate in killing you." Katsuki painfully looked at me and stepped back.

The man continued to give Tomura a pep talk, I want to travel to Katsuki but if I do he might kill us both.

"Ah, there you are." 

All Might seemed to fall from the sky, positioning to punch this man. When his fist made contact the man held him and pushed back. Just how strong is he?

"I'll have you return my students, All For One!" All Might shouted at him. So that's his name, or at least his villain name.

"Have you come to kill me a second time, All Might?" They kept pushing back against each other, seemingly unfocused from their surroundings. I noticed Katsuki looking at me and backing away from the villains.

I traveled near him, hoping the league won't notice. I kept my voice down while I hugged him. "Katsuki..." I broke into tears, "You're okay ri-"

A huge blast of wind and dust came from All Might and All For One, knocking us both back a decent distance and to the ground. Katsuki sat up and coughed, "I was okay." His voice started to tremble slightly, "Are you... Okay?"

I coughed in response, "About as okay as I can be, " I weakly laughed, "I was against this earlier but... I could use my quirk to get us out of here."

He helped me up and we watched the dust clear, with All For One approaching All Might who was now on the ground. "We can't, " Katsuki whispered, "You've noticed it too haven't you? All Might's gotten weaker. The other heroes are down. We have to help somehow." I hated to admit it, but he was right, I didn't want us to get hurt but, we can't just leave him. Especially after all he's done for our class. "This guy held All Might back with his bare hands... He has to be the boss. The least we can do is hold off some of the weaker villains."

"I will take young Bakugou and Todomura back. And I will make certain you're locked up for the rest of your sad life." All Might wound up his fist for another attack, "Right along with your despicable League of Villains!"

"Looks like you've got your work cut out for you." All for One raised his hand, "This will be hard for us both!" His arm expanded and strong winds burst out his hand, throwing All Might several blocks away.

"Oh my god." I placed a hand to my mouth, "How the hell can one guy be this strong." My breath quickened, "Katsuki, please, we have to go." I grabbed his hand and tugged.

"Keiko..." He looked at me, "We're not taking on the boss, just some small fries." I nodded and went back to his side. "How should we do this?"

I thought for a second, at that moment All For One instructed Shigaraki to take us in a warp gate. His black and red tendrils reached for Kurogiri and forcefully activated his quirk. "Leave this place." He demanded, and All Might returned flying at full speed.

"You're mine!" All Might shouted, attacked again. Once more causing strong winds, but this time not enough to knock us back.

Mr. Compress looked at us and spoke, "We better hurry up, c'mon fellas, let's claim our prize." Everyone else glared at us, minus Himiko and Touya.

Katsuki grunted, "This is gonna be fun, Keiko, you have a plan yet?" I nodded and rolled my neck to stretch it.

"As good of a plan as any."

"Well?"

"Attack like normal, I'll cover you." I traveled onto the shadows of his clothes and kept towards his shoulders, that way I could see from all directions. I temporarily poked my head out of his arm to say one more thing.

"I'll pop out occasionally, but for the most part, I'm your armor."
