From the Shadows || Katsuki Bakugou x OC

Chapter Eight

Katsuki is probably the most visibly shocked right now. His jaw dropped when Izuku got such a high score. I'm worried he's going to lash out at him, but lucky Aizawa can erase quirks to prevent either of them from getting hurt.

Shit shit fuckity fuck. His hands are sparking and he's running forward.

"HEY! Deku you bastard tell me how you did that, or you're dead!" Well he's definitely on kill mode now.

I was about to run forward to stop him but Iida, I believe his name was, put his hand on my shoulder, making me tense up a bit and jump back. Did I seriously get some sort of minor ptsd because of Katsuki?

"I wouldn't get involved, " he gestured to Aizawa who was already restraining Katsuki with his scarf, "even if you're only trying to stop them from fighting you can also get in trouble. I also apologize for startling you."

I sighed, knowing he's right. I attempted to ignore the scene that Katsuki was causing.

"I'm Iida, and you are?" He reached out to shake my hand.

"Todomura. " I shook his hand, he may be from a fancy school, but at least he was polite. I glanced over to Mina and Kiri, who seemed to be motioning for me to come back. "I should get back to those two over there," I pointed in their general direction, "It was nice meeting you." Before he could respond I traveled up behind them and leaned my arms on their shoulders.

"I'd say today's starting out fantastically." They jumped a little, not expecting me to show up right behind them.

"Yeah, what's explosion guys deal?" Mina questioned.

"Oh, Katsuki the Angry, well he's known Izuku and I for a really long time. He has some sort of superiority complex going on, since he thought Izuku was quirkless, like I did. He's always thought he could easily crush him, but now that he's a possible threat, I think Katsuki may just be lashing out to protect his status." I quickly explained while Karsuki was still struggling against Aizawa.

"Damn, that's intense."

"Looks like Aizawas stepping aside for now to let us finish the assessments on our own." Kiri noted.

"Yeah I'm surprised he would let us alone after what just happened." Man is today crazy.

The final parts of the assessment came up, sit-ups, seated toe touch, and the long-distance run, I got pretty decent scores on all of those. Everyone seems pretty tired out after all that. But now we have to see who's getting expelled today. I'm terrified, not for myself, but for Izuku. This little pervert who has a pretty bad quirk can get expelled for all I care, I'm pretty sure if the girls were wearing skirts right now he'd be using his height to look up them.

We all gathered into one area, "Alright, time to give you the results." Still no emotion from him. "I've ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already. I'll just pull up the whole list, it's not worth going owe each individual's score." Yeah no kidding, in this heat I would be happy to get this over with.

I got fourth place! That's pretty good, let's see what everyone else got. The Iida kid got fifth, Kiri got ninth, Mina got tenth, and Izuku got... he got last. I looked around for him, he's in the back, and he looks like he's going to cry.

"And I was lying, no one's going home." You what? Sir, please explain why you almost destroyed a teen's mental stability. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests." This BITCH really just did that.
