"Your room is this way." My dad led me up the stairs, then opened a door. "Here it is, the left side of the room is yours, and the right is Keiko's."

I set my bags down in front of my bed, "This is so exciting!"

"I can only imagine." He leaned on the doorframe. "Feel free to unpack at your own pace, there's no rush to get you situated yet. Besides, half of your stuff was shipped to U.A. so you can move in there too."

"I have a question about U.A."

"What is it, kiddo?"

"How does it work with weekends?" I asked. "I know Keiko and Shoto normally come home for the weekend, but... like," I fiddled with my fingers while I stumbled over my words, "what are the... uhh...rules?"

My dad chuckled, "Well, they can just take a train home after school let's out on Friday. The only thing is they have to mark off a sheet in their homeroom that morning so the teacher and principal knows who's where and how much food needs to be prepared for the weekend." He rolled his neck, I heard a very loud popping noise from it. "Other than that, as long as you're back when school starts Monday morning, you're good."

"Oh, that's a lot less complicated than I thought."

"Yeah, but there's a school board meeting within the next month to possibly change that. Make it a bit more complex, but safer, for everyone."

"Ah, that makes sense."

"Yep," he looked at his watch, "Keiko and Shoto will be here soon with Izuku and Ochako, I'm gonna go start on dinner with your mom. Do think you'll be alright for a bit?"

I glanced at my bags and my new room, "Uh, yeah. I think I'll be alright."

"Alright, I'll call you down when dinner is done." He disappeared into the shadows. I've heard from Keiko he has a habit of accidentally startling people by appearing seemingly from no where.

Either way, I have a new room, a new family, and a new life to get started on. I can't wait.
