Chapter Forty-nine

It was finally Saturday and time to move into the dorms. My dad dropped me off a few minutes ago, and I was now entering the front door. The place is huge, and it looks like the entire first floor is a common area.

"Keiko! Over here!" Mina waved me over to the couches.

I walked over to her and used my quirk to drag my bags behind me. "Hey Mina!" She gave me a big hug, "I'm so glad you're safe, and we get to live with each other now!"

"Yeah I know, you've told me like twenty times over text since yesterday."

"Well its true," she grinned. "Oh! Hanta, Shoji, Ochako, Iida, Sato, Ojiro, and Momo are here too!"

"Then it seems like I'm kind of in the middle of the pack. At least I'm not last." I laughed, "I guess I should take my stuff up to my room."

"Yep! Your room is on the same floor as Tsu and Momo! I was hanging out in Momo's room earlier and saw your nameplate as I walked there." She started marching towards an elevator, "You're on the fifth floor, luckily we have an elevator."

I pulled my luggage into the elevator and she pressed the button for the fifth floor. "Even if we didn't it wouldn't be a problem for me."

"Don't brag about your ability to go up and downstairs in less than a second!" She crossed her arms, "That's rude."

We laughed and brought my things to my room. "Your hair is getting a bit long." She gently flicked my hair.

"Yeah, I was planning to get it trimmed back down soon."

"I think it would look super cute long! Plus I can do all sorts of fun stuff with it!"

"You think so?" I picked up some shirts and put them in a drawer. "Alright, I'll let it grow out for a while and see how I like it."

"Yay! Oh, do you want me to help with anything?" She spun around in the school-issued office chair.

"Actually, do you think you can hook my Switch up to the tv?" I hung up my school uniforms in my closet as I asked.

"YOU BROUGHT A SWITCH?" She excitedly ran to my bags, "WHICH ONE IS IT IN?"

Laughing at her I replied, "It's in the small red bag there." She grabbed it and went to work, being careful not to drop it. "Thanks Mina!"

"You better let me play later."

"That's one of the reasons I brought three extra controllers." I already had two extra ones, mainly for when Izuku came over, plus my dad liked to play with us. I recently used my allowance money to get another since I have more friends now.

"Bro that's awesome!" She searched in the bag and pulled them out. "Yo these are so cool! Did you get all of them custom made?"

"Yeah I ordered them custom so that they could match." The controllers that came with the switch itself is Bowser themed, and the other three have Pikachu, Kirby, and Samus.

"I'm guessing all of them are based on Super Smash Bros characters?"

"Yep."

"So who's your main?" She plugged the last few things in and turned the tv on. "By the way it's connected!"

"Thanks, and my mains are Zero Suit Samus, Kirby, and Bowser. But I don't use Bowser as much."

She untangled the cords for charging the extra controllers and neatly put them on the shelf. "So what games you got?"

As I hung up a poster I responded, "You're the one that has the bag with them in it. And since you have it on you can look through the games I have there too."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." She laughed at herself and looked through my game as she put them on the tv stand. "Wow you don't have a lot of physical games."

"Well, I have more at home, but I only brought the ones I knew I would play most often."

"Oh, that makes sense." She looked through my digital games now, "You have Untitled Goose Game? That's epic!"

"Yeah that's one of my favorites, it's fun being chaotic."

"I hope you know I'm sneaking over here to play these games all the time."
