Chapter Forty-three

"Keiko! I'm glad to see you're doing alright!" Izuku walked up and hugged me. "What did you need to talk to us about?"

"Well, I actually need to talk to Shoto first."

"Why me?"

"You'll understand in a minute, can the rest of you wait elsewhere? I'll tell you guys once I tell Shoto." They nodded, and left the room with the nurse coming in a few seconds later.

"So you wanted a DNA test, correct?" He carefully took a box and opened it, with a needle inside.

"DNA test? Keiko, what is this about?"

The nurse wiped down my arm to make sure it was clean to take the sample. "You'll see in a second here."

The nurse took a tiny amount of blood, barely a drop. "I don't have to take much, it's pretty easy for me to pinpoint with his much blood. And don't worry, there is patient confidentiality here so anything I find will only be told to you and whoever you choose to tell."

"Thank you, how long will it take you match it up?"

"About fifteen seconds." He took off his gloves and opened the needle body, placing his finger on the blood. He closed his eyes and his hand had a faint red glow.

"Keiko, can you please tell me what this is about?"

I bit my thumb, "I have reason to believe that we're related." I can't go into detail about Touya and being kidnapped with the nurse around, but I can at least tell him a little.

"Related? Just because you somehow manifested ice doesn't mean we're related. Did you hit your head or something?" The nurse sat quietly in the corner with a puzzled look. "I know you wouldn't just make assumptions like that." He looked at the nurse who was now wiping down his hand.

"So? Anything?" I know Shoto is my brother, I just need to prove it for him to trust me on it. Even so, I continued to chew on my fingernail.

The nurse combed his hair with his hand, "I don't even know how this is possible, but it seems you have three biological parents. One of them being... Rei Todoroki." He stood up and shook his head, "Kid, I don't know how you figured this out but you are related to Shoto Todoroki here. Like I said, I won't inform anyone."

Todoroki slumped in a chair, gears turning.

"Thanks." He walked out and it was just Shoto and I now. "I'm guessing you want to know how I know this..."

"Well, of course I do, I knew I had a sister, but now I have two? It's a lot to take in."

I looked at the ground, "Yeah, I only found out today as well. But, remember how we were talking about our brothers?"

"Yeah."

"Obviously we were talking about the same brother. But..." I quieted down, as to not be overheard. "He was the villain with the purple scars."

His eyes shot open, "Tou-Touya was... He was that villain?" He looked at me, "But he's- he was thought to be dead... Did he tell you?"

I nodded, "He did tell me, " I choked up a bit, even though I just spent several hours playing board games with him it's still tough to talk about, "he wants to come back into society, he misses us, along with your other- our other siblings and mom."

"How could you possibly trust him? How do you know he wasn't lying about that?" Tears pricked the corners of his eyes, "For god's sake Keiko, he left both of our lives when we were young, he kidnapped you and Bakugou, and he's a villain!" He whisper-screamed at me.

"He didn't lie about being my brother. He also... managed to get evidence from the league as to what they did to my mom, along with him having contact with yours."

He sighed and leaned back, "That nurse did say you have three biological parent didn't he, I guess you have two moms then."

I explained what Touya had told me as quickly and accurately as I could, trying to have enough time to tell the others. Including everything with Himiko, them both being afraid of us being hunted down if they try to leave, and how hero society made them outcasts.

"I guess I should grab everyone else so you can explain to them too." He slowly stood up, "I appreciate you telling me before anyone else."

"Of course, and before you get them."

"Yes?"

"Do you think that I could meet our siblings and mom? And that you could teach me to use my ice?"

He smiled gently and nodded, "Yeah, I think I can do that."
