I know for now that I have to keep my distance from him. He is meddling with my senses. I am losing my mind. So I have decided I will stay away from Ryan and will not think about him. Now I don't eat lunch with him, I avoid him as much as I can. I know he can feel it too. It's going to be the end of the month and I will get my pay today.

I called kol to meet me at the cafe so I can pay him. He said he will will meet me at 6. I went to cafe after work. When I went inside I looked around to see him sitting at the corner.

"Hey" I said and sat in front of him.

"Hi how are you?" He asked.

"I am good" I told him.

"Look I am sorry for that day I shouldn't be so straight forward. I don't know what came over me but girl you were pretty rude" he said.

"Here's your money" I said giving him his money back.

"And I am like that, if you know me well you will know that too." I said nonchalantly

"Can we not at least be friends?" He said.

"Fine" I said.

"As long as we stay friends" I said sternly.

"Yes sure my friend" he said smiling at me.

We talked a bit long. His company was good. He is a nice and fun guy. In so many things I can relate to him. We are similar in one way or other. He also has parents issues and drug addiction just like me. I think we can be good friends.

"Okay I gotta go now." I said and stood up to go.

"See you soon?" He asked looking at me expectantly.

"See you soon" I smiled at him not the fake one but the genuine one.

As we were out of the cafe he went toward his bike and I went towards my car. But I saw someone leaning to my car and looking at me like he want to eat me.

"What?" I went towards him and said in my harsh tone.

"What were you doing with him? Do you know who he is?" He said visibly angry.

"Matt it's none of your business, so stay the fuck away from me and he is my friend" I said in anger.

Who does he think he is?

"I am your friend too and I want best for you" he said.

"The I don't need you as my friend. Never again meddle in my business. Buzz off now" I said and went to sit in my car.

"I will talk to your mother about that or better I will tell my mother" he warned.

"What are we? 5? Come on grow up. I don't meddle in your business so I expect the same from you. I know what is better for me and what not" I said, sat in my car and drove away.

Next day I planned to meet Mia, we got so busy in our jobs that we didn't meet each other for so long. Last time I saw her was when I went to my mother's boutique to shop for my office. Yes I shopped a lot from there and didn't pay a penny. She wasn't there when I went there so she couldn't do much. That was my way of taking revenge on her. I didn't had a choice either, I didn't had clothes for office and neither I had money, so it was the best option.

We met at our favourite cafe we talked about our jobs and other things. Suddenly I remember some thing that I wanted to ask from someone.

"Mia what is love?" I asked.

"Love is beautiful" she summarised.

"No I mean how do you know if you are in love" I asked.

"Love is something that makes you do things that you haven't done before. You care for someone more than you ever cared for yourself. You want to live for them and with them. You can't bear them with someone else. It breaks you to see them with someone else. You want to be the reason of their smile. You want to see them every moment of the day. The day spend without them felt incomplete"

"This is weird" I said.

"You will not say this once you will fall in love. Those feelings will be the best feelings for you. You will cherish them even if you won't have them, you can't forget them." She said

"Love is pain" I said

"Yes for them who don't get their love back. But for those who have their love with them are the luckiest" she said.

"But why are you asking?" She asked me.

"Are you in love? Oh my God" she said looking at me with her shocked face.

"No way I am not. I am just asking okay? I have to go now. Bye" I told her and went away.

No no no. This is not happening with me. Its not love yes. How can it be? But those things she said. No cali no. Stop it.
