18. Happy pills

Kol said he wanted to introduce me to his friends so he is taking me to his place. My mind was still processing Ryan's words. He will hate me too, I knew he will not love me like I love him but I never thought that he would hate me. I was in my thoughts when bike stopped in front of a house.

"Let's go" he said holding my hands, if I was in my right mind I would have snatched my hand away but I wasn't.

"Do not take anything from them. Okay? We are here to meet them" he said to which I nod.

With that we both went inside. Inside there were about 6 people 3 guys and 3 girls, they all looked at us once we entered. They all greeted kol and I stood their waiting for kol to introduce us.

"Hey guys meet calista my new friend and calista here are my friends jake, Tom, Linda, Julie, Ben and Sasha." He introduced from right to left, I waved at everyone. They too smiled at me which eased my mind a bit. Then we both took a seat on the empty couch. On my right was kol and on my left Sasha.

They all start chattering with each other including me every now and then. To say the least they were a good company. They were mostly joking around. Whereas Tom was secluded from everyone, it seems like he was in his own world. It doesn't took a genius to tell that he is high. But it didn't seem he was on weed it was something else, something.. more .. addictive. I didn't know when he statrt looking at me back and winked at me, I looked away from him and start talking to Sasha.

As we were talking kol got a call in between so he left by saying he will be back. He looked distressed after seeing his cellphone. Sasha also got busied with jake, apparently they were boyfriend girlfriend. So they were shamelessly eating each others mouth not caring if we were watching. Someone sat beside me so I turned towards them, it was Tom.

"Hey" he said not that high now, somewhat in senses.

"Hi" I said not wanting to talk to him, he gives me creepy vibes.

"Do you want one?" He said showing me  some pills.

"What are these?" I asked.

"They are called happy pills, they make you happy and relax your mind just try them you will love them. I can tell you need them" he said smirking at me.

I thought for a moment, I do need to relax my mind. There's chaos going in my mind, I need some distraction.

"Okay" I said and took two pills from him and popped them in one go. He looked at me wide eyed.

"What?" I asked confused.

"One is more than enough, they are very strong." He said.

"What?" I said but felt dizzy. My eyes rolled back and I leaned down on the couch. I was feeling so fucking good, no amount of weed can give me this much pleasure. Why haven't I tried them before. May be I will buy this from Charlie next time. He must have them. I was in my own bliss when someone interrupted me.

"What did you do to her?" It was kol's voice but it felt I was far away from everyone.

"She took 2 happy pills at once" someone said I think it was Tom.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Don't you now how addictive and harmful are those" it looks like they were fighting so I zone them out and succumb to my pleasure. It felt like fireworks were exploding in my mind and a giggle escape me.

"Hey baby, please open your eyes" kol said, I opened my eyes to see his woried face. I giggled again.

"Come with me " he said to which I complied. I stood but felt dizzy and was about to fell when he caught me and hurled me in his strong arms. He took me upstairs in a room.
