"Welcome to your new home, Eren!" Nisha cheered.

Eren looked around timidly.

"It's sort of...quiet," he said.

Nisha let out a laugh. "Yeah, there's not a lot of members in Levi's squad. You get used to it after a while."

Nisha had escorted Eren to the former headquarters of the Survey Corps - which was now in the care of Levi's squad. It was the first time he had been far away from his friends in years, but Eren sucked it up, knowing it was for a good reason.

"Hey, you! Newbie!"

Eren turned to see a man with ash-brown hair walking towards him.

"You're the titan-shifter brat, huh? Just know that we-" but before he could finish his sentence, he bit his tongue.

Nisha smacked him. "Oluo! Get a hold of yourself!"

A ginger girl walked up to the group, shaking her head with a sigh. "I'm so sorry about him. He's embarrassing."

Eren shrugged. "It's fine."

The ginger girl gave him a large smile.

"You're the titan guy, right? Eren Jaeger? I'm Petra Ral; nice to meet you!" She extended her hand, and Eren shook it.

"That guy is Oluo Bozado, and those two are Eld Jinn and Gunther Schultz," Petra said, pointing towards a blonde man and a black-haired man.

Suddenly, a window at the headquarters opened. Levi stuck his head out of it.

"This place is disgusting. Choose a section of it and clean it," he promptly walked out of sight. Oluo, Eld, and Gunther headed inside.

Petra looped her arm around Eren's with a smile. "Nisha, can I take Eren to clean with me?"

Nisha nodded. "It's for the best. I'll probably have to supervise Oluo, anyway. You know how he is with brooms..." she muttered.

Oluo whipped around. "Hey, are you talking about me!?"

Nisha stifled a laugh and walked towards Oluo, reassuring him. Petra gave Eren another grin, and the two headed into the headquarters, grabbed cleaning supplies, and headed upstairs.

"You take this side, and I'll take the other one!" Petra said, gesturing to the left. Eren nodded and began sweeping up the rooms.

While cleaning, Eren spotted Levi walking down the hall and ran up to him with a smile. "Uh, hi, Captain Levi! Where's my room?" He asked.

"The basement. It's a precaution in case you turn into a titan in your sleep," Levi answered.

Without waiting for Eren to respond, Levi walked off towards the staircase.

Petra stuck her head out of the room she was cleaning and gestured for Eren to come in. When he did, she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Don't take it personally. Levi's just not very friendly."

Eren frowned. "All the rumours make him out like he was this super cool hero that does whatever he wants when he wants, and everyone just respects that."

"But instead, he's just..." Petra prompted Eren to speak.

"...boring?"

Petra let out a gentle laugh. "Well, the rumours aren't wrong! He used to do whatever he wanted. When Commander Erwin recruited him, Nisha said he was a pain in the ass."

Eren chuckled. "Nisha said that?"

Petra nodded. "They used to hate each other actually," she turned around and began to sweep the room.
