Azure felt a sense of unease as she stood atop Wall Rose, watching Pixis casually lean over the edge.

"Dying by titan is an unfortunate way to go. If it were a gorgeous lady titan, however, I wouldn't mind..." he murmured.

Azure exchanged a confused glance with Mikasa, who shrugged in response.

"Oh, the things I'd do to live out a fate like that...." Pixis trailed off.

He turned back, glancing at Azure, Eren, Armin, and Mikasa. "You four are aware that I trust you, yes?" He asked.

Armin nodded.

"You think I can keep you safe?" Pixis asked.

Armin nodded again. Pixis smiled at his response.

"Excellent. Do be aware that this can change at any time if you cannot provide evidence of Cadet Jaeger's innocence."

Silence hung in the air. Azure lightly placed her hand on Eren's, causing him to turn to face her.

"We'll be okay," she whispered.

"Cadet Arlert," Pixis started.

"Do you truly believe in Cadet Jaeger's power, or was that beautiful speech just a plea for your lives?" He asked.

Armin took a moment to think before answering. "A bit of both, Commander."

Pixis nodded, gesturing for him to go on.

"I believe that Eren should be able to plug the hole in the Wall with a boulder I saw not too far from the gate. We can kill all the titans and reclaim Trost."

Pixis nodded again, then turned towards Eren.

"Cadet Jaeger, are you capable of this?"

Eren clenched Azure's hand in his own, answering with a short: "Yes, Commander."

Pixis smiled. "Excellent."

The older man walked off to a nearby official, and Armin immediately let out a  sigh.

"I'm sorry you have to do this, Eren! That was such a stupid idea..." He sulked.

Eren shook his head. "Don't be an idiot. It's a good idea, and Pixis will plan accordingly. Everything will go perfectly."

Azure slowly tuned the conversation out, looking off towards the titans outside. She placed her head in her palm and let out a small sigh.

"Have I been okay lately?" She thought.

She turned to see Eren, Armin, and Mikasa talking animatedly.

"Have they been okay lately?"

Pixis headed back over to the group. "It's time." He said.

Eren stood up with a nod. He looked at Armin, then Mikasa, before setting his gaze on Azure, who was still lost in thought. He then looked back at Pixis, who was speaking to the cadets below.

"...We will plug the hole in Wall Rose utilizing the special skills of Cadet Eren Jaeger!"

Eren walked over to Pixis, standing next to him and saluting.

"Azure, are you okay?" Mikasa whispered.

Azure slightly jumped, refocusing on the situation at hand.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Mikasa and Armin exchanged a glance. "You just seem off," Armin replied.
