Two weeks had passed since Azure joined the Survey Corps.

Surprisingly, life as a trainee had been pretty uneventful. Aside from the occasional cleaning or hanging out with her friends, it was surprisingly safe. She'd even been lucky enough to get her own room. It was her favourite place in the world.

"Azure, I got a letter from Dad."

Azure sat up on her bed, seeing Nisha through her open room door.

"How'd you know I was here?" She asked.

Nisha grinned. "You're never anywhere else nowadays."

Nisha entered the room and closed the door. She skipped over to the bed and sat down, giving her sister a big hug. Azure let out a groan.

"Let go; you're a terrible hugger."

Ignoring her sister's complaints, Nisha handed her an unopened letter. "I already read mine, and if we have the same thing, you're going to be super excited."

Azure raised an eyebrow and silently opened the letter, pulling it out.

'To my dearest Azure...' it read.

'I heard from Nisha that you joined the Survey Corps. I'm very glad to hear it since you've been struggling with making a choice for so long.

I know these past few years have been extremely difficult for you, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, but you are all amazing and strong kids. Those training years weren't ever a match for you four, right?'

Azure held back a laugh. If anything, she was barely a match for the past few years.

'Recently, I have been trying to relocate back to Rozafel. I kept it a secret from you girls in case it didn't go well, but it was a success. I have opened a bakery here and would love for you to visit me. The festival will be taking place soon, and I know you and Mina would love to participate. You used to talk about it all the time!

Regardless, I miss you a lot! I hope we can write to each other more now that you're an official Survey Corps soldier! I hope to see you soon.

Love you lots, forever and always,

Dad.'

Azure smiled. She gently folded the letter and put it back into its envelope. She looked up at Nisha, who was grinning excitedly.

"You saw it too, right? The thing about the festival?" She asked.

Azure nodded. "I doubt we can go, though."

Nisha shook her head. "Nonsense! All you have to do is ask. Here, I'll even come with you."

Nisha grabbed her sister's arm and hauled her out the door. Azure stumbled along awkwardly.

"Nisha! What are you doing!?" She hissed.

Nisha didn't respond. She continued to drag Azure until they got to a door. Nisha confidently knocked on it.

The door opened, revealing Hange behind it.

"Oh, my two favourite people! Come in," she said with a grin.

Azure looked at Nisha warily. Then, the two entered Hange's office while Azure gently pried Nisha's fingers off her arm.

"Hey, Hange, do you think you could help us convince Levi and Erwin to let us go somewhere?" Nisha asked. Hange sat down behind her desk, resting her elbows on top of it. "Depends on where," she said.

Nisha gestured for Azure to speak. The auburnette awkwardly said: "Uh, Rozafel."

Hange furrowed her brows.
